Let yourself and your pets sit back and relax in this beautiful 1 Bedroomed ground floor cottage.

The Snug', is a ground floor Yorkshire stone cottage with large bi fold doors making the patio and elevated lawns outside an extension of the living area inside from where you can enjoy the spectacular views beyond. Based at the very top of the Pennines in West Yorkshire at approx. 1500ft above sea level there's no better place to sit back, relax and take in the vista of Cragg Vale, Hebden Bridge and Stoodley Pike. The cottage is sited within 14 acres of private land completely detached from any other buildings. Surrounded by fields you'll regularly see all sorts of wild life including Deer, Pheasant, Rabbits, Hawks, Owls as well as our horses & ponies Tommy, Clooney, Joey and Bob.

The interior of this cottage is being carefully designed to provide the feeling of a welcoming, warm and cosy country cottage, a place to kick back, relax and watch the world go by after a days exploring the local area.

The open living area includes the lounge with log burning stove, dining and kitchen areas with a large full width, fully glazed, bi-fold door to make the most of the outstanding views. The cottage can sleep 2-4 people with a good size double bedroom with direct level access to a shower room and a double pull out sofa bed in the lounge.

Single level access makes moving around the cottage easy and hard floors mean we can welcome quiet well behaved dogs in this cottage.

In the Kitchen we've gone to great lengths to ensure you have the best of everything whilst staying in 'The Snug' so everything provided is from well known quality brands. The kitchen includes a two ring induction hob, full oven, kettle, toaster, toasty maker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, pans, plates, side plates, bowls and mugs as well as a full set of cutlery, food prep knives, scissors, ice bucket and most importantly a bottle opener!
The cut glass includes Champagne, Gin, Wine and tumblers.

We provide some tea, coffee and sugar to get you started along with the finest eco friendly soap and cleaning products, toilet and kitchen roll.
The bedding and towels are all provided and washed in Persil Non Bio and fabric softener.
If you'd like us to arrange groceries in advance we can also provide this for you.

To the side of the cottages there's a shared utility/drying room equipped with a boot washing sink, washer/dryer, boot rack and plenty of hooks for hanging outdoor gear to dry.

There's also plenty of private parking, if you need any help with directions please ask.

What makes this property unique

This ground floor single level Yorkshire stone property enjoys a vantage point that delivers stunning views that are possibly some of the very best in the pennines so it was really important that the cottage was equally stunning on the inside. The interior design is very much about connecting the interior to the exterior in a cosy country cottage style. When you fully open the full width glazed door you can really feel that connection, the beautiful hard floors throughout make the transition effortless especially when you're sharing with your four legged friends. The various limited addition works of art and ornaments all follow the theme of happy animals you may see for real out and about. This is a very exciting project we are extremely proud of.
