About this property

The Garden Nook @ Gate House Holidays

The Garden Nook is a unique shipping container conversion which is one of two holiday lets on our residential property; we also have The Little Gate House that can sleep up to 4 guests (with sofa bed). This space offers a relaxing getaway with adventure on your doorstep. Perfect for those wanting to retreat to the North Wales countryside, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. For the more adventurous: picturesque walks, hikes, trail-biking/running, fishing, and well-known tourist towns all minutes away.

The Garden Nook comfortably sleeps 2 adults in a studio style layout with open plan living area, private ensuite bathroom and all amenities you should need for a comfy stay. Anything missing? Just flip us a message and we’ll happily help you out. As this is a tiny home/shipping container, the temperature of the space can run similar to a conservatory in heightened weather conditions but don’t let that put you off; we have cosy underfloor heating for the cooler nights and fans for the warmer ones.

A complimentary welcome hamper is included in your stay with essentials such as milk, bread, etc. We also offer a hamper upgrade to include tasty snacks and a bottle of bubbles, more info can be sent once booking is confirmed.

The Garden Nook is situated at the end of the driveway of our family home, leading into our garden/meadow. It includes a personal, enclosed patio space but we also welcome guests to share our large garden during their stay. Parking is next to the property with personalised lock box code for a discreet check in.

Reasons we think you’ll love this property:
- Unique tiny home design that combines cosy with contemporary vibes.
- In the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with picturesque walks on your doorstep.
- A short drive takes you to Snowdonia National Park where the Welsh landscape really shows off.
- It may be our residential home but we fully respect your privacy and will leave you to enjoy your stay.
- Access to our garden which is perfect to stretch your legs or let your furbabies have some zoomies.
- On a clear night, we HIGHLY recommend stepping outside and looking up. The night sky here is phenomenal with the moon and stars shining so brightly.
- We’re located on a main bus route between Denbigh and Wrexham with a stop right outside our house.

Reasons this property might not be for you:
- You don’t ever want to see your hosts. With a designated parking space, enclosed patio, blinds and curtains you should have all the privacy you need. However, with it being our residential home and another holiday let on site we can’t guarantee you exclusivity.
- Our sincere apologies to those couch dwelling pups, we have a ‘no pets on furniture’ rule to respect other guests that don’t have furry friends.
- We are located on a main through road so you may experience some road noise.
- This is a brand-new property so lots of maintenance has been done to make it come alive, we’re nearly there, the patio area is pebbled currently and our grass is springing back to life, that luscious green feels only weeks away.
