Here you can swim from the dock, fish for trout and char, and enjoy the peace and quiet far from your nearest neighbor. You can ski across Søvatnet and up into the mountains, or drive to groomed trails at Høgkjølen, 8 km away. The route (1,040 m above sea level) is a popular destination both in summer and winter. During the season, you can pick blueberries and cloudberries in the area. Orkanger is 29 km away and offers shops and services.
