The house is a true gem with over 100 years of history, preserved in its original style and full of character. The cozy living room with its large window is perfect for enjoying the beautiful views, and the country-inspired kitchen is fully equipped for all cooking adventures.



The outdoor space is just as inviting as the interior, with several sun and sheltered corners, an outdoor kitchen with barbecue, an outdoor shower with hot water and even a sunset bench by the water. Here you can really enjoy the Danish summer days to the fullest.



Venø is an island full of experiences. Swim in the beautiful water right outside the door, take a walk to the harbor for a Venø waffle, visit the local artists and Venø Herb Garden, or explore the island's beautiful nature on the hiking trails at the northernmost point of the island.

The location, the historic house with its history ...

The location, the historic house with its history and unique charm, the island with its diverse natural beauty, and—last but not least—the people on the island made for a wonderful week. Everyone knows everyone else, and for a little while, you just feel like you’re part of the community. We fell in love with the house from the very first moment. It has a history—you can really feel it—and the hosts have created a place here where you can relax and enjoy yourself. Everything you need is there. The kitchen is very well-equipped—we didn’t lack for anything. The view and the immediate proximity to the fjord are simply fantastic. Thank you once again to our hosts, Camilla and Claus—it was a pleasure to be your guests. We’d definitely love to come back someday.
