The cabin is located right on the water, surrounded by mountains that frame the view. The first thing you notice when you arrive is the silence—the kind of tranquility that makes your shoulders drop before you’ve even unlocked the door. Here, the pace automatically slows down, and the days take on a different meaning.
The atmosphere is warm and relaxed—a cabin that can handle wet hiking boots in the entryway and laundry room. Large terraces with awnings and easy access make it possible to take your coffee outside, even when it’s a bit windy or raining. Comfortable patio furniture and practical amenities make it easy to eat outside, read outside, or just sit for a long time and gaze out over the water.
The outdoor area is simple and functional, yet designed to be enjoyed: space to gather, space to retreat, and natural zones that are just as suitable for morning coffee as they are for a meal al fresco. The nearby water adds an extra dimension—whether for a refreshing morning dip, a peaceful evening stroll along the shore, or simply the soothing sound and feeling of being close to nature.
The area offers hiking and rock climbing for all skill levels, excellent fishing opportunities in both freshwater and the sea, as well as the Ikornnes outdoor swimming pool. There’s a beautiful bike ride around the lake that’s suitable for both children and adults—two e-bikes and two regular bikes are available upon request. You also have access to two kayaks and a rubber boat.
