The cabin is located right by the water, surrounded by mountains that frame the view. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed – a cabin that can handle wet hiking boots in the hallway and laundry room. Large terraces with awnings and easy access allow you to take your coffee cup outside even when it's a little windy or there's a rain shower. Good outdoor furniture and practical facilities make it easy to eat outside, read outside, or just sit for a long time and look out over the water.



The outdoor area is simple and functional, but made to be used: space to be together, space to retreat a little, and natural zones that are just as suitable for morning coffee as for a meal outside. The nearby water adds an extra dimension – for a refreshing morning swim, a peaceful evening stroll along the shore, or just the soothing sound and feeling of being close to nature.



The area offers hiking and mountain climbing for all abilities, excellent fishing opportunities in both fresh water and the sea, and the Ikornnes outdoor swimming pool. There is a nice bike ride around the lake that is suitable for both children and adults – at the cabin you will find two electric bikes and two regular bikes. In Nysætervatnet, right in front of the cabin, there is plenty of fish, and you have access to fishing equipment and a plastic boat with an electric motor.
