Welcome to a unique accommodation in the Alarp Mission House, a place where historical charm meets modern design. This generous space, with its impressive church hall decorated with designer furniture and large church windows, offers an unforgettable stay. With a ceiling height of 6.5 meters and a mix of old and new, the house creates a special atmosphere.



The house is divided into several parts, with the residential part comprising three floors with newly renovated facilities such as kitchen and bathroom. The rustic solid wood kitchen is complemented by a fireplace, and the preserved details add to the charm of the house. Bedrooms are located on both the second and third floors, where there is also a toilet.



Outside, you can enjoy a large slate terrace and a well-kept lawn, perfect for relaxing or socializing. The terrace surrounds the house and offers a magnificent view of the surrounding nature.



The area around the house is rich in activities and nature experiences. Within walking distance is Lake Sommen, known for its clear fresh water and excellent swimming bays. In winter, Asby Alpina is a popular destination for skiers. For nature lovers, there are ample opportunities for hiking and mushroom picking in nearby forests.

Unique accomodation that is hard to find a second ...

Unique accomodation that is hard to find a second time. This old church perched on a rocky elevation, along lake Sommen. Beautiful view on the lake and sorrounding from the multiple seating positions outside. The church has been renovated with style and attention to detail. It is very spacious and has a great room climate. Nice mix between vintage and modern. Jakob was a great host and we enjoyed the time to the fullest. 5min walk to the lake for a swim. We wish you all the best! :)
