Cirencester is a lively town with outdoor and indoor marketplaces and a great range of independent shops and vibrant cafés and places to eat.
Away from the towns there is plenty to explore; the glorious gardens at Hidcote, Snowshill and Kiftsgate to name but three, the Farm and Wildlife Parks and the wonderful walking at Cirencester Park, on Minchinhampton Common and in the Windrush Valley and easy access to the A419 makes the lakes an excellent base if you want to explore further afield.
Perfect location for the Cheltenham Festivals, especially Gold Cup week
