I had my wedding party stay here at Barefoot Hills for our wedding weekend. Everyone was incredibly impressed with the property and had an absolutely wonderful time. This served as a perfect base of operations for all our friends for our Dahlonega wedding.
We had the best time at Barefoot Hills! We rented the whole property for my daughter's wedding party and family friends. It was perfect! Tyler, Misty and Sharon were amazing! We would do it all again if we could!
Property is large and is a great location to the Wolf Winery. We had a great time. Pros are that it is large and there was room for everyone. Main house has a kitchen with large couch and large dining table. Full size refrigerator and washer and dryer. Downside is that there is not a bathroom downstairs, but there are two upstairs. There is a nice fire pit with wood to use which was very nice. We used the entire location for a wedding and there was room for 7 couples/families with small kids. The staff were very sweet and polite and put up with us. It has corn hole games and horse shoe throwing area. Downside was that one a/c unit did not work while we were there but they did everything they could to fix it. I thought the units could use a good pressure washing or at least blowing off with a blower. It was springtime though and lots of oak leaves were falling. It is in the woods and you do have to walk up a mulch hill to get to the rooms. Overall, Barefoot Hills was a blast to stay at and would definitely stay there again and appreciate everything they did for us while we were there. They were very kind because we had a large and rowdy group at times and they were tolerant of that.
We brought our youth group and had a wonderful stay! The staff was very friendly and very informative. The space and the views are amazing! We would definitely come stay again.
The main house refrigerator was not working properly was told should have already been replaced, got .e really stressed check in day telling me I owed 6000 dollars when. I had proof all was paid trash was left by prior occupants not enough plates cups, etc had to hunt down from other rooms no extra trash bags porches were not Cleaned spiders , pollen dirty the location was great
This was the best retreat experience for a professional group of nonprofit fundraisers. The grounds are wonderful, especially the fire pit. I highly recommnend this property!
