Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
We are a group of 5 friends traveling together - 1 married couple and 3 singles (2 females and 1 male). This trip started with our pre-arranged transport was given the wrong date to pick us up at the airport. I had previously confirmed this with the host. The VRBO which was given to us was not the VRBO we rented and were approved to rent. No notice was given to us by the host. The bedrooms were not set up for us. We asked for 1 double bed and 3 singles. We were given 3 king-sized beds. The freezer was frozen over. There were dirty clothes left in a hamper in the kitchen as well as wet towels in the washing machine. The cleaner came to remove the dirty laundry but only moved them to a closet off of the kitchen. The smell still permeated through the door. The temperature in the showers was hard to control. It was either scalding hot or cold. The host was defensive when I questioned the change in the VRBO and why no notice was given. Yes, I became frustrated which I'm sure added to her defensiveness. The kitchen was equipped to provide for 5 guests - example being there was 1 coffee mug. The description of the VRBO was misleading in that it mentioned multiple shops, easy access to the bus, etc. There was a coffee shop on the corner and a pizzeria around the corner. Check in was confusing. The host responded to "look at the video". However, the video did not address the confusion with the multiple keys and entry into the gate, front door of the building and door to the VRBO.
