Here you stay in a peaceful and secluded setting with the forest as your neighbour while still being close to the sea, bathing spots and beautiful excursion destinations. The house accommodates up to 6 guests and is perfect for families or smaller groups looking to experience the charm of Bohuslän in a tranquil environment. The accommodation offers two bedrooms with a total of five regular sleeping places, consisting of one double bed and one family bunk bed with an additional sleeping place. The bright rooms, well equipped kitchen and cosy living room with a wood burning stove create a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the year. From the dining area and several of the house’s windows you can enjoy views of the lush garden surrounding the property. Outside, a spacious terrace with outdoor furniture and a barbecue awaits, perfect for long summer evenings together. A high chair is available for families with small children. The house is also pet friendly and up to two pets are welcome to join your holiday.

Säby is a peaceful and nature rich part of Tjörn with easy access to the sea, hiking trails and several popular attractions. Here you are surrounded by the beautiful Bohuslän landscape while still being close to many of the island’s highlights. A visit to Skärhamn, the Nordic Watercolour Museum, Pilane Sculpture Park and the charming fishing villages of Klädesholmen and Kyrkesund is highly recommended during your stay. For those who enjoy swimming, several lovely bathing areas can be found within a few kilometres. Here you can choose between family friendly sandy beaches and traditional Bohuslän cliff bathing. Those who appreciate swimming from the smooth coastal rocks can also take a dip at Säby Kile, located approximately 3.6 km from the house. The bathing area at Säby Kile is best suited for adults and nature lovers as it requires a longer walk to reach the water and is less accessible for families with young children. Just 900 metres from the house you will also find Hoga Saluhall, a popular destination for local food and artisan products. Here you can buy locally produced vegetables, freshly baked bread, cheese, meat, eggs, honey and other delicacies from Tjörn and Bohuslän. Perfect for filling a picnic basket or preparing a delicious dinner on the terrace. For those wishing to explore more of Sweden’s west coast, both Stenungsund and Gothenburg are within comfortable driving distance for day trips with shopping, restaurants and entertainment.



Good to know about this accommodation

• A security deposit of SEK 2 500 is automatically reserved on your card upon arrival. The amount is released within one week after departure, provided that the house is left in approved condition after inspection.

• Bed linen and towels can be rented: SEK 190 per person and SEK 60 per person respectively.

• Final cleaning is not included in the price. Guests are responsible for cleaning the house before departure. Cleaning equipment is available in the house.

• Electricity is included in the rent. Charging electric vehicles is not permitted.

• Smoking is prohibited.

• Pets are allowed.

• Youth groups are not accepted and parties are not permitted.
