The room was spacious and well furnished. The fabric covered headboard made a real impact as you walked in. The bathroom was sparklingly clean. Real thought had gone into what makes guests feel at home and what utensils they would need to prepare food if necessary. The wine glasses were a nice touch! There was even a breakfast bar where you could sit and look out over the street. Plentiful supply of electric plugs (so useful when you have phones and iPads etc.) Check-in worked perfectly and it was easy to contact the host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in what is a very charming village with lovely surrounding countryside.
