About this property

Elidan - Two Bedroom Cottage, Sleeps 3

Elidan, Dwygyfylchi - a charming cottage between the mountains and the sea. Tucked away in the peaceful village of Dwygyfylchi, Elidan is a beautifully refurbished stone cottage that perfectly captures the appeal of North Wales. With sea views from the front of the property, hills rising behind and some of the area's best walking routes on the doorstep, it offers a wonderful base for couples, friends and small families looking to explore this spectacular corner of the coast. Dating back to around 1871, the cottage retains much of its original character while providing all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay. The cosy lounge enjoys lovely views towards the sea, creating a welcoming space to unwind after a day spent exploring nearby beaches, mountain trails and historic towns. The well-equipped kitchen provides everything needed for self-catering, including a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, separate fridge and freezer. Whether you're preparing a hearty breakfast before a day in the mountains or enjoying a relaxed evening meal together, you'll find everything close to hand. Upstairs are two comfortable double bedrooms. The principal bedroom enjoys elevated sea views, while the second bedroom overlooks the hillside behind the cottage. A modern shower room completes the first floor accommodation. Outside, the enclosed south-facing patio offers a private space to enjoy the fresh coastal air. It's the perfect spot for morning coffee, a leisurely lunch or relaxing with a glass of wine after a day exploring. Up to two dogs are welcome, making Elidan an excellent choice for guests who enjoy bringing their four-legged companions along on holiday. Dwygyfylchi is ideally positioned between the coast and Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. Walk straight from the front door onto nearby footpaths, explore the Wales Coast Path, spend a day in historic Conwy or visit the Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno, all just a short drive away. The village pub and local shop are both within easy reach. Whether you're looking for a walking holiday, a coastal escape or simply somewhere peaceful to relax and recharge, Elidan offers a warm welcome in one of North Wales' most scenic locations.
