Lovely cottage, very well stocked and in a nice location. Lovely views and easy access to nice walks, a park, a pub and sunset views. Ideally located to explore the area.
A beautiful cottage in a stunning location at the foot of Snowdonia National Park. Within 15 minutes you can be at the nearest beach or setting off on hikes in the mountains — the best of both worlds! Even a day trip to Liverpool is easy. We loved our stay and would happily come back.
Wern house had everything we needed for a very comfortable visit. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is large and well equipped and the lounge is great to relax in after a day out. The location is great, there are so many places to visit nearby. Jane and Laurence are excellent hosts.
Wern Cottage is ideally situated for exploring North Wales. It has everything you could possibly need and more. We enjoyed the views, the many birds, the red squirrels and the lambs. The cottage is highly recommended, when we travel to Wales again, we will definitely book Wern Cottage again.
Perfect retreat to enjoy the thrills that Zipworld has to offer. Excellent facilities for a small family and a warm welcome pack from the host.

This is a great property for touring the North Wales area. Very comfortable cottage with all the amenities you might need to give that home from home feel. This is our second stay at Wern cottage and it did not disappoint. It is clean, comfortable and a very peaceful stay. I’m sure we will return again in the future. Thanks Jane and Lawerence for a super stay.

Wern Cottage is a rare beast, in that it far exceeded our expectations. A beautiful, practical, homely property. The added bonus was the pub serving food just a two minute walk away.

Cozy place with easy access to Conwy and Snowdonia
Nice amenities, easy access to Conwy and Snowdonia. The washer/dryer combo was useful. Very clean and well maintained. Owners were very quick to respond to questions.
We had the most amazing stay! The property was so cosy and a real home from home. Little touches like chocolates, fresh flowers in the rooms and milk in the fridge were much appreciated! The location could not have been more perfect. Spectacular walks, views, beach and pub all from the cottage. And so much more to explore in surrounding area too. Just perfect!! 10/10!!

Hi Susan, thank you so much for your review and so sorry we are late in our response. We really do hope you will come and stay again at Wern. In terms of local eateries we can recommend the little Italian restaurant Ti Amo in Penmaenmawr. We had such a lovely welcome and great food there recently. Recent cottage guests have also said the Village Bistro also in Pen was a great find and a little gem! Thanks again for taking the time to write a review for us. Best wishes, Jane & Laurence
Beautifully presented and in a small village.A cosly, authentic Welsh cottage. The stream was singing as it rushed by. Little birds and a squirrel visited. The garden peaceful with lovely outlooks. We would love to come again. Perfectedly located to visit Snowdonia. Very restful.

Diolch! Thank you for your lovely review. The stream provides a very calming sound all year round although its course to the sea is well below where the cottage stands, so no danger of wet feet! We always aim to keep the bird feeders topped up and our friendly squirrel is still a frequent visitor. Best wishes. Jane & Laurence
A lovely cottage, extremely well set up with lots of special touches, the owners have thought of everything. Love the little deck outside, so peaceful with birdlife. Best of all it was well located as a base for a week of touring around the north of Wales, and to come back to each evening, and walk down to the Fairy Glen pub for a drink some evenings. Thank you for a lovely day.
Wern is a lovely cottage in a picturesque setting. It is equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday. The cottage is very clean & comfortable. Small garden to sit in enjoying a glass of wine. There are lovely walks right from the door to enjoy. A short walk away is the friendly Fairy Glen pub. Good choice of meals & generous helpings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wern.
