The moment you enter the private, walled compound your magical vacation begins. A mere 150 meters from the south end of the world renowned Playa La Ropa, Zihuatanejo's premier beach, Villas Los Arcos offers you the comforts of home with the colors of Mexico. Minutes from the beach, fine restaurants, and old town Zihuatanejo, there is easy taxi and public transportation.

Up a large winding exterior staircase is the third floor deluxe suite El Cedro. It is spacious and impeccably decorated with all the comforts for relaxed living. This suite offers A/C, T.V., king bed, two sofas that can be converted to twin beds, and a wonderful open-air bathroom with walk-in shower. The kitchenette is equipped with two burner stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, coffeepot, and most items for any light cooking. The private outdoor balcony offers views of the pool and the mountains.

Lovely place

Our stay here was awesome! Our place was spacious & we enjoyed the experience of an outdoor bathroom/shower. Very clean! The pool with the beautiful flowering garden areas was all very lovely. We also enjoyed meeting and getting to know Nancy the host/owner.

First time guests, hoping it won’t be the last! Absolutely beautifully kept property, pool and rooms. Fantastic location- 5 minutes to a wonderful beach or quick ride into town. Loved the outdoor kitchen and open air bathroom too. Nancy was a great resource and had answered all our questions.

Nancy is a very gracious host! Our accommodations were beautiful! The bed was very comfortable. The grounds and pool area are immaculate and very relaxing! It is a very short walk to the beach and serveral good restaurants and, also an easy short bus or taxi ride into town for shopping and endless restaurant choices. We have been to Mexico many times and this was our most relaxing trip. We can’t wait to go back!!

Absolutely beautiful!

We had a magical time at Villas Los Arcos! Our room was gorgeous and clean and comfortable! The grounds and pool were immaculately maintained. The other guests were friendly. Nancy was accommodating and helpful! The beach was a 3 minute walk away. Many restaurants were within walking distance and many many more were a simple and inexpensive local shuttle away.

This was our 3rd trip to Mexico. For my husband and I, Villas Los Arcos was a true charm! From the moment we arrived we knew this was EXACTLY what we were looking and hoping for. A week to rest, relax and enjoy the wonderful culture. We stayed in El Cedro and absolutely loved it. Great architectural design, CLEAN, open air bathroom, balcony, wide open windows offer a constant breeze and a peek at the sea! And the bed was super comfortable. The fresh water infinity pool was a delight. But more than anything was Jony and Tommy, the caretakers...AND the location! Jony and Tommy are extraordinary, always there to help and always with a smile! Their work ethic excels in all areas. This property is immaculate! They work hard to keep everything clean and beautiful. MUY HERMOSO! Only a short stroll and you are on the most beautiful beach, with hard beautiful CLEAN sand. The water is an amazing mix of blue, blue green and dark blue, with a constant rolling surf. The skies were always blue and the breeze was always blowing. Walking the beach, swimming in the ocean, sailing and taking a cooking class filled our days, as did eating tacos, drinking beer, sipping tequila and deciding what book to read next. Would we return? In a heartbeat. Can't say enough about our casa, the people of Zihuatanejo, the owner, Nancy and caretakers, Jony and Tommy. Thank you for one of the best Mexican vacations yet. We can't wait to come back!

The rooms, setting and facilities were outstanding. The caretakers were also outstanding.?only disappointment was not being able to invite a friend over to enjoy the pool. Pool only for guests. Minor concern since close enough to beach and restaurants where we spent most of our time.,

Fantastically Relaxing Stay

Our stay at Villas Los Arcos was absolutely superb. Nancy is host extraordinaire. Her attention to detail is amazing and the entire facility is immaculate, clean & beautiful. Nancy’s villa is close to the beach and minutes away from downtown Zihuatanejo. She is a wealth of local knowledge and you’re in very good hands when you stay there. Her staff does a fantastic job maintaining the buildings and grounds. A perfect location for a romantic getaway!!

After years of traveling throughout Mexico and other parts of the world, the neighborhood of Playa La Ropa was our chosen retirement location. Being a Rotarian in the U.S., it was important to find a local club. Club Rotario de Ixtapa welcomed me and continues to provide great friendships and opportunities to serve the community.

Why they chose this property

The land for Villas Los Arcos was purchased in 2001, and the main building plus surrounding wall was completed at the end of 2003 providing a residence and the beginning of a small boutique type hotel. Later construction projects added the pool, the two-bedroom Las Aves and then the separate building that houses the one-bedroom El Mango.

What makes this property unique

Villas Los Arcos offers a little piece of paradise inside our compound’s walls. The pool area is relaxing and provides an area for fun or making new friends of other guests. The property is meticulously well kept by Jony and Tomi who have been with Villas Los Arcos from nearly the start. They are an industrious, hard-working, friendly couple available to ensure our guests have a comfortable stay.
