The North Dorset Trailway runs close to the historic town of Sturminster Newton (7.5 miles), or you can explore the beautiful estate at Stourhead (14.5 miles) in the north-eastern corner of the magnificent Cranborne Chase National Landscape. With Shaftesbury (10.5 miles) and Sherborne (7 miles) both within easy reach, this is a fantastic base for exploring the breathtaking countryside of Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire.


Accessed via a side-gate, this cute cottage features a welcoming entrance hallway which leads through to a lounge decorated in fresh, restful shades. With ample seating, a Smart TV and a wood burner, this is an ideal space for everyone to unwind in. The lounge also has a handy sofa bed for one additional guest (available on request). Heading through an opening in the wall, you’ll find the elegantly presented dining room is perfect for enjoying a family get-together, and leads along to a sleek, fully equipped kitchen with plenty of storage space. Beside the staircase leading to the first floor is a stylishly arranged bathroom with a shower over the bath. Going upstairs, a WC can be found on the first-floor landing, alongside a choice of three bright and relaxing beamed bedrooms: a snug double with a TV, a cosy single, and a lovely king-size room with a TV and en-suite WC.


Doors from the kitchen lead to the enclosed wraparound garden, with a lawn, patio, and a charming vine-covered seating area perfect for dining alfresco on a sunny afternoon, alongside a delightful summer house. Roadside parking can be found across the road, immediately opposite the property, subject to availability.
