About this property
Traditional Farmhouse Accommodation In An Idyllic Setting | Erw-Dinmael
This traditional farmhouse accommodation in an idyllic setting comes with big views across green fields to hills and mountains beyond. Stylish, bright and smart, it sleeps up to six guests in three bedrooms - two doubles and one room with bunk beds.
If you're hankering after a remote and totally private location, this beautiful holiday cottage could be the perfect match for you. Erw-Dinmael is a lovely Welsh farmhouse which occupies a central North Wales location and is perfectly placed for day trips to Llangollen, Bala, Betws y Coed, and Llandegla.
The cottage is nestled in the foothills of the Berwyn mountains, which run from Llangollen in the north, across to Bala in the west and Oswestry in the south. This is a quiet but beautiful corner of North Wales, ideal if you are looking for a relaxing holiday getaway that is slightly off the beaten track.
There are superb walking, cycling and wildlife watching opportunities straight from the front door. The surrounding landscapes are quite inspiring - if you are in anyway artistically inclined, pack your notebook, sketchbook, pencils and pens.
Open the front door into this traditional farmhouse accommodation in an idyllic setting and you'll find a small hallway which is ideal for casting off boots, wellies and coats. From there, step left into the dining room with a handsome oak dining table and a cupboard nook with hatch pass into the kitchen. There is a stable style back door which opens into the garden.
The kitchen is bright and modern. Recently renovated, it comes with gas hob and electric oven, a dishwasher, large fridge freezer and microwave, plus plenty of pots, pans, utensils and storage space. The far-reaching views from the kitchen windows are superb.
The living room comes with original beamed ceiling, and a huge oak lintel over the fireplace. A large, inviting, and very comfortable ‘L' shaped sofa is arranged around the toasty log fire. We love the winged leather armchair and deep recessed windows. The perfect spot to get cosy with a good book and a glass of something delicious.
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms, one double with en suite shower room, a second double which has a zip and link bed so it can be seperated into two single beds upon request, and a bunk bedroom, ideal if you are bringing children or grandchildren. The bedrooms are beautifully presented and very restful. There is a shared family bathroom with a bath and shower.
Outside of this traditional farmhouse accommodation in an idyllic setting is an enclosed garden, and a patio with dining table and chairs. A little piece of rural paradise, it is surrounded by rolling green fields dotted with grazing sheep. The Berwyn mountains lie beyond.
Please note that final access to the house is via a stone farm track.
One Travel Cot and Highchair on request (cot-linen not provided).
We’re happy to welcome 2 well-behaved dogs. Please keep them supervised at all times and don’t leave them unattended. To keep the space comfy for everyone, we kindly ask that they stay off the furniture and out of the bedrooms. Feel free to bring their favourite bed, blanket, and anything else to make them feel at home! To keep your furry companions safe, we recommend not leaving them unattended in the garden and always keeping a watchful eye on them during their outdoor adventures. Please make sure to clean up after your dogs in the garden and surrounding areas.
