About this property

2 Bed in Brecon (oc-bn138)

Step straight into the stunning hills of the Brecon Beacons from this charming holiday cottage in Bwlch. This two-bedroom period home, accommodating up to four guests, offers breath-taking views over the picturesque Usk Valley and toward the Black Mountains. Whether you're into climbing, caving, or horseback riding, the national park has plenty to offer. Just a 5-mile walk from your doorstep leads you to Llangorse, home to South Wales’ largest natural lake, where you can enjoy fishing, sailing, or windsurfing. For a dose of history, visit the medieval Tretower Court and Castle, or head 6 miles to the quaint town of Crickhowell to explore its castle ruins, browse local shops, and perhaps indulge in a meal out.

This traditional cottage welcomes you with a cosy atmosphere, accessible via a single step. Unwind in the inviting lounge, where an electric wood burner-effect fire is set within a large stone fireplace. Find your favourite show on TV or relax with a DVD. The kitchen/diner offers everything you need to prepare a tasty meal, and you can enjoy it together around the table. The ground floor also features a family bathroom with a bath, shower over, and WC. Upstairs, you’ll find two comfortable bedrooms; a double with additional single bed and a single room, both offering spectacular views of the Usk Valley and Sugar Loaf Mountain.

On warm days, return to your cottage to relax on the front patio at the garden bench. Fire up the BBQ for an alfresco dinner or simply savour a drink as the sun sets. Private parking is available for one car.
