This wonderful cottage is located within the grounds of the owners’ country home and offers privacy, peace, and quiet with country living at its finest. This peaceful part of Shropshire is popular with guests wanting to get back to nature with picturesque country walks in the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), beautiful wildlife, and quiet country lanes. Clee Hill (8.5 miles) offers fantastic walking trails and panoramic views across Shropshire and beyond. Bridgnorth is a charming market town where you can enjoy a walk along the River Severn or take the steam railway through the Severn Valley, stopping at some lovely stations.
Make your way to your rural retreat along the driveway which meanders through the beautiful gardens. Head into the property and through to the stylish and well-equipped kitchen/diner, making use of the delicious local produce you will come across whilst out and about. There is a cosy sitting room where you can relax in front of the wood burner effect electric fire and a separate snug which is ideal for anyone who wants a bit of time to themselves to get lost in their favourite book or play chess or backgammon. A twin bedroom completes the ground floor and up on the first floor is the king-size master bedroom as well as a bathroom with a large shower.
Outside, you’ll find a raised patio which has outdoor seating overlooking the beautiful gardens. This is a wonderful space to enjoy a drink and take in your serene surroundings whilst keeping an eye out for the abundant wildlife and, on a clear night, the beautiful stars that light up the sky in this rural location.
