Located in an idyllic position at the foothills of the splendid Angus Glens in the valley of the Quharity Burn, close to the historic town of Kirriemuir (4 miles), the birthplace of J M Barrie and Bon Scott of ACDC. With views towards Cat Law Hill, Balintore and Airlie Monument, erected in memory of the 11th Earl, and surrounded by abundant wildlife including red squirrels, this is the perfect getaway to recharge your batteries. Nestled close to the southern fringes of the Cairngorms National Park (10 miles) and the surrounding glens of Isla, Clova and Prosen, you’ll find plenty of outdoor pursuits to fill your time. An abundance of activities can be reached within a few miles including cycle hire and horse riding. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy an array of courses close at hand with the championship course at Carnoustie (24 miles) being a good option.

Stepping onto the fully enclosed, decked area, you are met with this luxurious micro lodge. Venturing inside this fantastic lodge with magnificent glen and countryside views, you’ll find the cosy into the open-plan living area. The lounge area has a comfortable sofa which can convert into a small double bed if required. This is the perfect space to relax after a day out exploring the beautiful local area, or perhaps you’d prefer to enjoy a great movie or catch up with your favourite TV program, or just sit back and admire the amazing views. The bespoke well-equipped kitchen area is the perfect place to whip up something special with a two-ring gas hob, gas oven and electric grill, microwave, fridge with ice box and breakfast bar area - ideal to enjoy romantic meals. There is also a lovely comfy king-size bed where you can relax and enjoy the splendid views. Finally, completing the accommodation is the stylish shower room with shower cubical and WC.

Venturing outside onto the enclosed decked balcony, you’ll find a seating area ideal al fresco dining or lazy evening stargazing. There is also a fantastic private Scandinavian wood-burning hot tub located just below the decked area on the lawn where you can relax and unwind and enjoy the splendid countryside views. There is a shared large fire pit designed for 14 people, children’s play area with swings and a spacious BBQ hut that can seat up to 12 guests. There is ample off-road parking available.
