Lovely house but very open

We loved to stay at this house even we were a bit unlucky with the weather. One thing what wasn‘t very clear to us is that most of the bed and bathrooms are not private but very open. Nevertheless, the house has a stunning view and a nice outside area!

Because it is a very traditional building with a unique history, we could not make architectural alterations. However, in order to preserve its form and value, we carried out a renovation with great respect for its heritage and uniqueness. We restored and created distinct interior spaces: the house now features four private bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, as well as two additional bedrooms on different levels — one of them a loft. There are also two toilets that used to be open, but we have now made them more private. You can see the difference clearly in the photos. Outside, the various levels have also been improved — but the most impressive space of all is the pool area.

Simply top. A remote, quiet place to dream of...

If you are looking for a remote, quiet (well, keep the cicadas and sheep bells in mind...) and very special place off the beaten tracks - this is it. Here you will find a sensational, grown house in a very original Cretan setting. And with Jannis and Maria very kind owners, which are helping you with everything. If you don't mind serpentine driving, this is also a perfect place to go hiking, and do trips to the north and south coast. Simply great!

A wonderful experience

We had such a wonderful and memorable experience staying at this villa with a group of friends who had gathered together to celebrate a big birthday. The only thing that may be a deterrent to some is the stairs that the villa has which can be a lot and also dangerous for kids. Other than that, this is a highly recommended place and I can certainly see myself going back to in the future.

Really nice location!

Very beautiful, individual house with lots of space and lots of bathrooms. Very open plan, only a few separate rooms (bathrooms are also open). But it was completely OK for our group. Very nice, spacious outdoor area, with pool, barbecue area on three levels. A small drawback were the many bees right by the pool, but they were very peaceful and not aggressive. Communication with the host was easy and always quick. It's a shame we didn't get to meet him. Still, he was absolutely helpful and courteous

Traditionelles Dorfhaus mit toller Aussicht

Die Formalitäten gestalteten sich problemlos. Der Verwalter war sehr freundlich und gab Tipps für mögliche Aktivitäten. Das Haus bietet alles, was man für einen ruhigen Urlaub benötigt. Durch die steilen Stiegen im Haus für ältere Menschen nur bedingt geeignet. Parken kann man vor dem Haus, die Anfahrt ist typisch eng für solche Dorflagen. Alle Tavernen in der Umgebung sind vorbehaltlos zu empfehlen. Einkaufsmöglichkeit im Dorf, nur Brot bekommt man hier nicht. Der E4 verläuft durch die Ebene. Wanderfreunde kommen auf ihre Kosten.
