Escape the city bustle and unwind in this charming 2-bedroom cottage nestled in the serene countryside of Rachamps. Ideal for a family or group of 4, the home offers central heating and a cozy wood stove for year-round comfort. The private terrace and fenced garden create a tranquil setting for sunny breakfasts or evening barbecues.

Surrounded by nature, the region invites mountain biking and scenic walks. Explore nearby Bastogne (11 km) with its renowned War Museum, or visit Houtopia children’s center in Houffalize (7 km). La Roche-en-Ardenne is just 40 km away for a day trip. Essentials like supermarkets and restaurants are conveniently located 3 km from the cottage.

Inside, the renovated interiors blend warmth and practicality. Pets are welcome (up to 2) for a small fee, and safe parking is available on-site. Charging for electric/hybrid cars is offered at €15/day. Please note: pets should not be left unattended indoors. Public transport is accessible at 30 km.

A utilities & service fee of EUR 75,00 will be required closer to your checkin date. You will receive a separate communication with the payment link. The utilities & service fee ensures a smooth stay and covers any additional services such as cleaning, service charges, consumption, damages or any additional charges incurred during the stay.
Expenses related to charging an electric or hybrid car (when possible) are always charged according to use and separately

Fijn huisje dat met zorg is ingericht/ wordt onderhouden. Ligging ook prettig maar aan de overkant van de weg ligt op enige afstand wel een hondenkennels en als je niet tegen af en toe wat geblaf kunt zou ik het elders zoeken. Wij raden het huisje aan!

Great Stay Overall

We had a great and relaxing time at the holiday home. Everything was as described, and there were no issues during our stay. The place was quiet and peaceful – perfect for a break. The only small downside was that the basic supplies like dish soap and other essentials could have been stocked a bit better. Also, communication in English on-site was a bit challenging at times, but overall it didn’t cause any major problems. Would definitely recommend!

Things to know: First this cute old house is adorable and we found the location convenient for our stay. Private parking space off the road was nice. Bathroom is on the ground floor so if you are older and can’t do stairs in the middle of the night you should know this. The host is friendly and you can tell cares about the environment. As an American we were surprised by no soap in the bathrooms and one roll of toilet paper. Also be sure to read the fine print. You will be charged for “renting “ sheets, kitchen towels and bath towels.

Alles perfect!! We zijn heel vriendelijk en gastvrij ontvangen. Je kunt je auto naast de deur kwijt, zodat in- en uitladen heel makkelijk is. Het huisje is heel knus ingericht, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Niet geheel onbelangrijk: ook een goede WiFi verbinding! Op zo'n 15 minuten rijden ligt een grote Lidl, wat erg handig is. Kortom: Een supermooie omgeving om te wandelen en tot rust te komen.

Gite heel goed uitgerust en heel net. vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar die naast de gite woont. De grote charme van het huisje is de mooie rustieke bouwstijl waar je direct een vakantiegevoel van krijgt. Overdag wel wat verkeersdrukte, het huisje bevind zich op hetdorpskruispunt . pluspunt is wel dat de tuin volledig met hoge haag afgesloten is. We hadden een heel aangenaam verblijf in een mooie omgeving. Voor boodschappen en horeca zijn Bastogne 7km of Houfalize 5 km de dichtste mogelijkheden.

Het is een mooi huis in een mooie omgeving edoch ligt het huisje precies op een kruising. Het huis is gehorig zowel buiten als binnen. Om 0600 uur word ik wakker van de eerste auto's. Vind ik net even te vroeg. Verder is alles aanwezig en het ontvangst was erg vriendelijk. Ik vind het bed minder geschikt voor mij maar mijn gezin heeft er verder geen last van. Vanwege de gehorigheid en het bed is voor mij een reden om hier niet meer terug te keren. Een goede nachtrust is voor mij belangrijk genoeg om dit zo te melden.
