About this property

Peak-A-Boo is a wonderful 3.5 bedroom cottage full of island charm, featuring a large modern master bedroom with fantastic ocean views and a wonderful back deck with a lush garden. There are 3 full bathrooms plus an additional outdoor shower which is sure to be put to great use after a day on the beach. Steps to the water, both beaches and rocky shores, and a five minute walk from the ferry to Portland, you'll have access to all that wonderful Peaks Island has to offer. Enjoy a lazy afternoon gazing at the ocean from the master bedroom, living room, or deck, spend the day lying on the nearby beach, rent a kayak and paddle in Casco Bay, or head out to explore the sweeping views of the back shore. Then plan a night out at one of the amazing restaurants in the Old Port, or do your own cooking in our fully stocked kitchen. We are excited to welcome you to our home and hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Comfortable house with a stunning view

Fantastic Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay on Peaks Island at this home. Perfect location to the beach and to the ferry. All within a few minutes walk. The home was very clean and had everything ww needed ready for us when we arrived. My kids (13 & 10) loved the bunk beds and room in the basement. They felt like they had their own space. Beautiful backyard area to hang out as well. Owner was on top of everything with a handy binder with all the ins/outs of the area and property. She also checked in several times during the stay which was nice. We were there for a wedding and felt fortunate as we had a much better place to stay than most. All in all we would definitely stay there again. We can't imagine booking anywhere else. If you are on the fence about this place, don't be. Book your stay here, you won't regret it.

Hidden gem

This property is awesome. It was a great place to stay—close to all the excitement in Portland but remote enough to be relaxing and feel removed from the crowds. The pictures really don’t do this home justice. The master bedroom is absolutely stunning with its abundant natural light and views. Even though this property is close to neighbors it was pin drop silent. It is a super quick walk to all the islands amenities, including the easy to navigate ferry. We didn’t even rent a car—just got a Lyft from the airport to the ferry (10-15 minute ride) then a 10-15 minute ferry to the property. The island itself is also absolutely lovely. We’ll definitely be back!

Perfect spot!

I rented the cottage for my brothers and our spouses while we attended our niece’s wedding festivities. Cottage was the perfect combination of accommodation and location. All were comfortable and we were near all of the wedding events. We were also able to enjoy the island, take several long walks, and enjoy some “home-cooked” meals! Lots of discussion about a possible future, longer stay at the cottage to see more of the island and enjoy some time in downtown Portland.
