Perfect for a family trip

Fantastic, safe SF home

Great little basement ADU. Very good use of space, plenty of linens for pullout, and beautiful neighborhood. Convenient to beaches and golden gate, not far from downtown. Note the refrigerator/freezer is not full size, but fits a good amount. We loved staying here!

Long weekend getaway before cruising out of Dan Francisco

Great host communication, darling 1st level apartment, perfect location. Easy to walkabout with markets, restaurants and entertainment nearby. The unit has everything you will need for a home away from home. Would definitely stay here again.

Moscone Conference Crash Pad

Attended a conference at Moscone and the hotels were expensive and mostly booked. This option was great for our group of three - two bedrooms and a sofa bed. The neighborhood is quite nice and we were a 30 minute WAYMO (or Uber) away. Public transportation is very acessible, too. The unit is bright and charming.

The property was perfect for our short stay in SF. It's easy to find, in a great residential neighborhood, and only a short walk to the public transit system with a main line taking you into the city. It's very clean with better than average furnishings and amenities. Only minor downside is the smaller, but still fully functional kitchenette. If you're not planning on cooking large meals it's more than adequate. We cooked up some nice tortellini and a salad we picked up from the neighborhood Safeway a few blocks away. My son slept on the queen sleeper sofa and thought it was plenty comfortable. The washer and dryer were great for a quick refresh of our clothes during our multi-week trip through California.Definitely recommend this place!

Clean, cute rental in great neighborhood!

This rental property was perfect for our family of six while exploring the San Francisco Bay area. It was clean and exactly as listed. We were able to find free street parking without any trouble. We loved the clean, safe neighborhood and proximity to great restaurants and stores. We would definitely stay again if we return to the area!

Perfect stay for our family vaca to San Fran!

Unit was very clean and well kept. Beautiful view off the street. Made us feel very comfortable. Location was also wonderful at about 15-30 minutes away from most attractions. Host JoAnn was always available. Asked for recommendations on places to go and eat and she directed us to some great locations! We will most definitely be booking with this host at this home in the future as we are already planning to return. If you are deciding which VRBO to go with and this one suites your accommodation, look no further and book while you can!

Nice neighborhood

We visited California for 12 days; this was the final property that we stayed in. I have stayed in VRBOs for about 15 years in over 5 countries. Pros: we enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and the closeness to shops and restaurants on Ocean Avenue; and a mall with a Trader Joe's and Target. A whole foods is walkable to the left on Ocean Avenue. Cons: When we arrived, the couch smelled like urine and the closet farthest from the washer/dryer smelled like mildew. The in-law suite is a basement; so we heard the owners walking around and working in their kitchen. No wine was provided; so the owner may want to update her photos. The kitchen area was small but adequate; the washer and dryer were nice but loud. I would recommend the place if the owner cleans the 2 areas mentioned. Thank you.

Clean, convenient and comfortable

This extraordinarily well-kept property in the Balboa Terrace area of San Francisco is ideal for two couples or three singles. The decor is lovely and immaculate. The two bedrooms are comfortable with queen beds and room for luggage and other essentials. The living room is large with dining table for six and couches suitable for conversation and cocktails. One of the couches makes into a very nice bed for that third adult or child. While it does not have spacious kitchen, an efficiency arrangement with two-burner range, sink, microwave and washer/dryer in an alcove is more than suitable for breakfast and lunch making. You could do dinner in a pinch but why when there are so many restaurants within easy walking distance. The location could not be better for dining and exploring. As mentioned, restaurants abound (Ocean Avenue and Junipero Serra have dozens of choices and West Portal with many more is nearby). The M and T Muni trains stop at Westgate and Ocean (literally 100 feet from the apartment) providing easy access to the rest of the City. If driving is your mode of choice, street parking (scarce in much of San Francisco) was easy to find and close by. An excellent stay for us and highly recommended.

My husband, teenage son, and I loved our stay! Everything you need in a great location. We enjoyed all of the restaurants and shopping located nearby, and it was very easy to get a ride share into Downtown and other places of interest. Highly recommend!

Family of 6 (age 11-18) visiting San Fran for 6 days. There is a reason JoAnn has amazing reviews. This place was perfect for our home base to explore the city, beaches, and Muir woods. The beds were comfortable and place was very clean. IJoAnn is very responsive in getting back to you with any questions. The area of the city felt very safe with Target and a Trader Joe's conveniently located close by. Ample street Plparking was a breeze. Nothing to complain about. Book with confidence.

We traveled with a 5yo boy and 2 girls (7 & 10). The beds were really comfortable and the kids slept on the pullouts without a problem.The place is in a perfect location with nearby parks if you have little ones. Also, it has everything you need and spices for cooking. JoAnn is an excellent host considering with a situation we encountered in which she remediated immediately. She is very accommodating and communicates well.

Great space, great location

Eight days to take in as much of San Francisco as we could. We were close to the MUNI line which opens up the whole city while not needing to drive. Home was spacious and weill appointed. Clean, neat and had some maps and guide books to add to our information. Would stay again if we get back there.
