Sea Colony, Walk to Beach & Tennis--Beautiful, Sparkling Clean Getaway!

Enjoy the beach and everything it has to offer from our lovely Sea Colony condo. Rented only recently, it was our private getaway for years. After upgrading both baths, kitchen, floors, and HVAC, we decided to move to Delaware and retire in a larger home in the area.

That means our beautiful first-floor place is yours to enjoy: Sleeps 4-6 in two bedrooms (primary bedroom with queen bed and en suite bathroom, second bedroom with twin beds) plus a queen sleeper sofa, new walk-in tiled showers with glass doors (no bathtub), dishwasher, cooktop, microwave/convection oven, and a large private deck overlooking Sea Colony's Swan Pond. Freshly painted.

Sea Colony's world-class tennis center (over 30 indoor/outdoor courts including dedicated pickleball courts) is across the street. Walk to 12 pools, playgrounds, Fitness Center (basketball, indoor lap pool, machines, fitness classes) and Sea Colony's private half-mile beach. Or take the shuttle (in season) to the beach. Enjoy biking, walking trails, and fishing. At night, there are great sunsets and a variety of local restaurants, mini golf, and ice cream shops. Rehoboth Beach and Ocean City, MD, are close by. Or, stay in, watch the 55-inch TV and relax on the deck. The location provides a quiet retreat, while being close and convenient to the action.

We’re on the ground level of a two-story building. The fully-equipped kitchen features granite countertops and a deluxe beverage center that was installed where the conventional oven used to be. There are plenty of options for cooking: large microwave/convection oven, oversized toaster/broiler, or cooktop. Coffeemaker is a Keurig.

Reliable Comcast internet and cable TV and a beautiful deck on Sea Colony's Swan Pond make relaxing or working remotely a breeze!

BRING YOUR OWN LINENS (bed, bath & beach + sheets and towels), beach chairs, and bikes. Or let us know and we'll recommend local providers. All guests over four years old must purchase a weekly Sea Colony recreation badge (2026: $15 from January 1-March 31; $20 from April 1-May 8; $35 from May 9-June 5; $58 from June 6-September 11; $35 from September 12-October 16; $20 from October 17-March 31, 2027; or whatever rates are in effect). A parking pass is included.

Keyless, no-contact entry. We clean and disinfect all high-touch surfaces after each guest.

What's special about our place? Early check-in (12:30 pm) gives you extra vacation time; luxurious walk-in showers (both are tiled with glass doors); the Swan Pond view from our large deck; plus it's sparkling clean with comfortable beds. We live just a mile away so we're nearby if our guests need anything. Read our reviews!

We loved the convenience of the location of this property. We were walking distance to the beach and the marketplace- even moving at kid pace. There was pool about a block away and the tennis center was right across the street. The property was spacious and clean and had everything we needed for the week.

My husband, Tom, and I raised our two children in Bucks County, PA, and vacationed every summer at Sea Colony. After renting for years, we finally bought this place in 2010--and it was our year-round getaway until we retired, when we built a home about a mile away. It's easy for us to manage the property personally rather than relying on others. We're delighted when couples and families enjoy it as much as our family did!

Why they chose this property

We've been coming to Bethany Beach for a long time--me, since I was a child, and Tom, since he met me! Since we bought this place in 2010, we've spent just about every weekend at Sea Colony, year round. In fact, we love it so much that, when we retired, we decided to move here. Bethany Beach has changed a lot over the years, but for us it's still just the right combination of outdoor activities, social life, and quiet time. We hope you love our place as much as we do (and take care of it as if it were your own).

What makes this property unique

Sea Colony is a fabulous community--wonderful for couples and families. (Check out seacolony.com for more info.) The landscaping and amenities are meticulously maintained and enhanced every year. This unit is close to two of our favorites: tennis and the beach. But, it was the view of the Swan Pond and the sound of the fountain from the deck that convinced us to buy it. Several years later, we completely renovated, adding EVERYTHING that we put on our wish list---beautiful floors, luxurious walk-in showers, new appliances, a beverage center, and a huge TV!
