The space

1. Check in: code will be provided

2. IMPORTANT: the cottage operates on a septic tank, it is very important that you don't flush any garbage (except toilet paper) down the toilet. Please use the garbage bins for other waste.

3. Tap water is safe! Soft water and is perfectly safe for drinking and cooking, however you may prefer bottled water for drinking, please bring your own bottled water if you want.

4. Please feel at home during your stay, everything in the Lake House is for you to enjoy, including all kitchen items and outdoor space. The kitchen is fully equipped, there's also paper plates on the top level shelf in case you don't feel like doing the dishes. We just ask that you also treat it like your own home and put everything back where it belongs after you're done.

5. There's a fire extinguisher under the kitchen sink and first aid kit in the main washroom on the ground floor.

6. Fire pit: if you do use it please make sure the fire is completely put out, and you’ve checked prior for any fire bans during your stay.

7. BBQ: you'll need to turn on the propane tank to use the BBQ, please make sure it's turned off after you're done.

8. TV has prime, plex and roku

9. Garbage: There is a Recycle Bin and Garbage Bin.
It is important that you don't leave any garbage out as it will draw animals.
Simcoe only takes Garbage every other week and Recycle Bin every other week.

If you have excess please refer to the local land fills (there are 4 nearby).

10. Check out: Make sure windows and doors are locked and all lights are turned off
