Fantastic accommodation in beautiful village

The booking was easy and Erick was very quick to respond. He happily greeted us on arrival and showed us around. The property is situated in a truly magical village with all local amenities and traditions. The facilities in the house were terrific - everything you could think of was provided. We had a fabulous holiday and would highly recommend this property and village for a relaxing retreat, but in easy distance to drive to other attractions.

We could not have enjoyed our time at this magical house more- we arrived home yesterday and are already thinking about when we can visit again.The house is immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and comes with everything you will need to enjoy your stay. It is very well situated for day trips to the wealth of places to visit nearby- we managed Carcassonne, Narbonne, Perpignan this time, and Canet itself has a lovely general store, bakery, pharmacy, pizza restaurant and bar. The pool was exceptionally clean and perfect to swim, play and relax in. Erick, our host, was so helpful and easy to contact throughout our stay, and an example of the lovely people we met on our holiday.

Excellent séjour

Malgré une météo peu favorable, nous avons passé une excellente semaine. La maison est très bien équipée, intérieur comme extérieur. On a pu profiter malgré tout de la terrasse et du jardin qui sont très agréables. Erick est très prévenant et agréable. La région offre un choix très varié de promenade ou visite. On recommande.

Perfect holiday

We had an absolutely gorgeous holiday here. The house was immaculate and very welcoming. Erick is a fantastic host and was really helpful and so easy to communicate with. We would love to come back here again it is a magical place and a great location for days out. Thank you Erick for a wonderful holiday.

Comfortable stay

We stayed for one week together with our two teenage kids. The house is comfortable and has everything for a nice stay. Kitchen has all you need to cook. Swimming pool is very nice, set in green garden(it was a hot week so very welcoming).

Happy days in France

Erick was an excellent host informative and friendly. The villa is exactly as portrayed on advert. The peaceful village has all that's needed a patisserie supermarket butchers and a bar.

Trés bon séjour et de bonnes balades

Belle location, avec un jardin bien pensé et orienté pour lézarder. Un bon équipement. Le village est sympathique et dispose de commerçants serviables Pas besoin donc de prendre la voiture pour faire les courses. Le propriétaire est sympathique ce qui évidemment ne gâche rien ;) Bon séjour.

Happy times in Canet

Delightful house. Gorgeous garden. Whilst not large, the pool was a perfect size to relax in. Nice outside dining area under a sunshade just seconds away from the kitchen. The place was spotless. Perfect spot to park, mostly in shade and well secured beside the house. Erik was a very gracious and helpful host.

Tout est conforme à l annonce.Une maison spacieuse propre et fonctionnelle avec une piscine donnant sur une terrasse ce qui nous a ravis Contrairement à certaines locations nombreux ustensiles et plats pour faire la cuisine et une literie de qualité .Le lieu bien sûr est propice au découverte À noter l amabilité du propriétaire Si l occasion de présente nous reviendrons

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt im kleinen Dorf Canet d'aude

Zunächstienmal war es für uns und unsere Freunde der erste Urlaub mit Kindern im Ferienhaus. Die Kinder waren 5, und 3 Jahre alt. Dazu noch ein Baby von 3 Monaten. (REISEBETT ist im Haus vorhanden). Und es war auch der erste Urlaub in Südfrankreich für uns alle. Das Haus ist sehr gut eingerichtet. Kaffeemaschine nesspresso ebenfalls vorhanden, Wasserkocher, Spülmaschine, jede Menge Geschirr und Besteck, Pfannen Töpfe, Gläser etc. So dass man mit 8 Personen immer genügend hatte. Einzig die Gläser sollten mal gegen neue ausgetauscht werden. Sie sind nicht mehr so schön anzusehen durch die Spülmaschine. Der Pool ist ein Traum schöne 29 Grad und im Garten ist ausreichend Sonne und Schatten. Für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Wir hatten nichts zu meckern. Noch ein Tipp, die Hängematte ist im Fernsehschrank versteckt. Das haben wir leider erst bei der Abfahrt entdeckt. Vor den meisten sind Mückennetze. Das ist auch gut so. Also Mückenspray einpacken. Und Abends am besten drinnen essen, da dann auch sehr viele Fliegen kommen. Uns hat dies aber nicht gestört. Das ist halt so. Kann der nette Besitzer auch nichts dran ändern. Im kleinen Ort ca 10 Min Fußweg ist ein Metzger mit dem Namen Lionel Hack und eine sehr gute Bäckerei. Es gibt auch einen kleinen Obst und Gemüseladen. Eine kleine Bar und Pizzaria. Ein schöner Kinderspielplatz im Schatten ist ebenfalls im Ort und ein großer Fußballplatz. Alles andere ist mit dem Auto zu erreichen

We had a great time at this house as a group of seven friends. Really nice owner, we had no problems at all. It's about a 35-40 minutes drive to the beach which you have to be aware of. Overall a really great experience. Thanks again :)

Toller Aufenthalt

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Ericks Haus. Es war ein gepflegtes Haus mit Garten & Pool, welches uns eine gemütliche Atmosphäre während unseres Aufenthaltes bereitete. Da wir Mitte Mai unseren Urlaub dort verbrachten, war beim Wetter zwischen Sonne & (wenigen) Regenschauern alles dabei. Wir hatten zu fünft genug Platz, um es uns gemütlich zu gestalten. Ein Fernseher & freier Internetzugang, der zu 99% zur Verfügung stand war auch für Couch-Potatoes geeignet. Die Schlafzimmer waren nett hergerichtet. In der Küche & dem Esszimmer, den vorrangig genutzten Räumen, war alles Wichtige vorhanden. 2 Toiletten & Duschen waren für uns perfekt. Die Ausstattung ist für den Durchschnittsurlauber absolut ausreichend, sogar 2 Kühlschränke waren vorhanden. Es gab für uns 2 unbedeutende Kritikpunkte: Das Haus „arbeitet“ ein bissl, man hörte Nachts Knacken - hinterher kamen wir darauf, dass der Kühlschrank diese Geräusche verursachte. 2 Türklinken gaben am Ende des Urlaubs den Geist auf - für uns aber kein Problem und Erick wird sich sicherlich sofort darum kümmern. Zu unseren Urlaubszielen: Im Umkreis von ca. 45 Minuten hat man die nächsten Wochen so viel zu entdecken. Von Carcassone mit der unglaublichen Burg über die Abteien im Umland über schöne Ortschaften und weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten in unterschiedlichsten Baustilen zu der super tollen franz. Küche und dem Mittelmeer ist für Jeden etwas dabei. Vielen Dank an Erick für die tolle Zeit in seinem Haus!

Wundebares Haus in toller Umgebung

Wir waren als Familie mit 3 Teenagern in Ericks Haus. Es war wie im Inserat beschrieben, vor allem die Ausstattung der Küche war hervorragend. Der Garten , die Terasse, der Pool waren einfach top, toll zum Entspannen. Das Haus liegt am Rande eines netten kleinen Dorfes, mit kleinem Supermarkt, Bäcker, Bar und Pizzeria. Überall in der Nähe gibt es Weingüter. Der nächste größere Supermarkt ist 10 Minuten entfernt. Wir haben tolle Tage am Meer, ca 30 Minuten, in Carcasonne und bei einer Kanutour auf der Aude verbracht. Es war eine herrliche Zeit und Erick war ein absolut hilfsbereiter Gastgeber.

Erholsamer Familienurlaub

Wir haben eine Woche mit unseren drei fast erwachsenen Kindern in dem schönen und toll gepflegten Haus verbringen dürfen. Es war rundum gut ausgestattet und wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer haben alle eine gute Größe und könnten jeweils von zwei Personen genutzt werden. Begeistert waren wir von den Moskitonetzen an allen Fenstern, so konnten wir nachts bei geöffnetem Fenster und frischer Luft schlafen, ohne von Moskitos belästigt zu werden. Auch der zweite Kühlschrank war sehr praktisch, um nicht täglich einkaufen fahren zu müssen. Am großen Tisch auf der Terrasse haben wir immer einen Platz im Schatten gefunden um gemeinsam zu essen. Die abendliche Kartenrunde haben wir allerdings gelegentlich nach dem Essen ins Haus verlegt, um den Moskitos aus dem Weg zu gehen. Ausflugsziele wie Carcassonne, die Salinen und die Markthalle in Narbonne waren mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen, ebenso unterschiedliche Supermärkte. Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen und kommen gerne mal wieder. Wir hatten vorab nicht beachtet, dass keine Handtücher vom Vermieter gestellt werden, aber dank ausreichend mitgebrachter Strandhandtücher und der vorhandenen Waschmaschine war das kein Problem. Küchenhandtücher waren ausreichend vorhanden.

Ein gelungener Urlaub

Diese Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, bequem und geräumig. Unsere Fahrräder könnten wir unter einem Dach unterstellen. Wir hatten sehr schöne Tage dort verbracht. Zu empfehlen.

Location conforme à l' annonce. Propre, rien ne manque , jardin agréable le seul point négatif est le passage fréquent des voitures créant une nuisance sonore malgré que la maison ne doit pas sur la rue principale du village.

Belle propriété, propre, fonctionnelle et verdoyante. Super séjour dans une région sympathique riche d'histoire et de vieilles pierres. Sans oublier la piscine, la plage et les cours d eau nécessaires en période de canicule.

Beautiful house set in pretty and private garden

Firstly let me say that the photos are a perfect representation of the house and garden. Eric was a great host and spoke perfect English (my secondary school French having long since abandoned me). The house is in a nice French village which was well serviced with a shop, a pharmacy, and two bakeries. The house was perfect, spacious and bright inside. We especially loved the garden and pool area. The garden isn't overlooked and being south facing gets the sun all day. There is ample parking for two cars at the side of the house, which thanks to the bushes and the house, are in the shade for most of the day. We used the house as a base to explorer the region. It is close to Narbonne, and it is around 40 -45 minutes from Carcassonne, Perpignan, and Beziers, all of which are worth a visit. The beach and sea is around 35 minutes away. It is only 20 minutes from the Abbaye de Fontfroide (which I would highly recommend also). We had a wonderful week there and would recommend it to anyone.

Séjour très agréable !

Nous avons passés une superbe semaine, la maison est bien située et nous avons pu découvrir les environs. Nous également bien profité de la terrasse et de la piscine qui sont très agréable ! ;) Au plaisir d’y revenir si l’occasion se représente !
