Cozy renovated attic loft with 2 bedrooms. Perfect for family with lots of kids and pet. Primary Bedroom has queen bed and twin bed. Private second bedroom has 1 twin and full bed , window, bright and airy with central air conditioning and heat. Beach side of Mandalay Ave, just 5 blocks north of Pier 60. Open French style glass shower, separates twin beds from queen. Romantic and cozy for couple or 5 singles. Vaulted ceilings taper down to 4 feet, so not for tall folks, There is a teaser view of the Gulf of Mexico from the window. Each bedroom has door and lock, window and closet, student refrigerator

The old Florida cottage was old Florida. It was clean with history and very friendly property management. I grew up in this area and this is what vacation was before all the resorts cluttered the beach. I mis booked our cottage and the manager met me and fixed it without argument. Close to the beach and far enough from south beach that you had some peaceful time off. Would definitely go back and have already recommended to several friends and family.

Great stay!

We stayed here for my daughter’s spring break and had a blast! The place was clean and had everything we needed. Capt Al was right there to greet us when we arrived and was helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend! We will for sure be back.

The stay was a great time. The location and neighborhood was excellent. It was a one minute walk from the beach. However, it was just very small and hard to move around.

The upstairs loft was small but efficient. There were small fridges in both rooms. The windows open gave a very nice breeze. The hot tub was warm and relaxing

Hello Travelers, and welcome to my Owners Story. It 's very long but in a nutshell, I am retired Doctor in Florida , licensed since 1976, and love the vacation rental business. Now living in Clearwater Beach, I enjoy swimming in the warm Gulf waters in summer, taking my guests out on my 21 foot runabout, enjoy the Salt Life of this cute little island, and the company of my like minded congenial neighbors. When you come to visit, my first mate, Karen and myself will show you how to loose yourself in the Clearwater Beach lifestyle.

Why they chose this property

This area called Clearwater Cottages are the very last few streets left on the beach side of the island with cottages, vacation rentals from the 1920 s - 1950 s with that Old Florida feeling, while South Beach all the cottages and older homes were torn down for the new expensive ritzy motels. This loft is a new renovation in a 1948 building, cool, cozy, and affordable .

What makes this property unique

Enjoy a private, cozy, loft for the price of a hotel room. No streets to cross, your at the beach, and can see the Gulf of Mexico with a 45 degree limited view from the window. Open the door and get the Gulf Breeze. You have all the amenities of Clearwater Cottage, at no additional cost, which includes wood party deck, Key West style backyard at the beach, Weber BBQ grill, use of Capt.
