All in all an excellent experience. Check in straight forward, a lovely introduction to the gite from the host. Facilities were all that was needed - wifi mostly 100%

Great Gite, in a quiet location with a big garden.
Had a lovely week with family (boy 8yrs old and girl 7yrs old).
Gite is very tidy and had everything we needed, with none of the plumbing or electrical eccentricities that we have experienced in other character properties.
Big garden that kept the children occupied, particularly the hammocks .
We did not travel far, preferring a restful holiday but i would recommend visiting Eperney and the nearby Sourdet-Diot champagne producers.

A gem in the Champagne countryside
This was truly a wonderful find, a gem in the Champagne countryside. It had all the amenities that we needed and we made full use of the Raclette grill. The cottage was ideal for people like us who had dogs as the garden was large and secure. There are a number of champagne houses close by and I to admit they are better than the big champagne brands you find in the supermarkets (plus a lot cheaper). Jean-Michel was a perfect owner, even though he was on holiday he still kept in touch with us. We are already thinking if we should go back next year.

Lovely, traditional, and homely French gite with beautiful grounds
The house was beautiful ; typically French, very well maintained and clean and very homely. The garden was beautiful too with a lovely BBQ area and plenty of room for our dog to run around. There were lots of apples on the tree which Jean Michel allowed us to pick and eat. Jean Michel was very friendly, warm and helpful and left us to our own devices too. The surrounding area is beautiful and steeped in history. There was lots to do - including the First World War museums, the champagne houses in Epernay, and the lovely city of Reims. Disneyland is only an hour's drive away too. I would love to return and I hope that we will. Would thoroughly recommend!

Perfect stay in French countryside
The Gîte is well equipped and in a quiet village setting. A car is a necessity. Epernay is a must and the village is situated amongst the vines, perfect dog walking from the house. The garden is huge and completely enclosed and safe. It was clean and tidy.
There are so many local champagne producers in the area, don’t buy from a big name or the supermarket. The locals are friendly and helpful. Our host Jean-Michel was a complete star. So helpful from booking to the end of our holiday. Very responsive to messages and full of advice. I cannot speak highly enough of him. If you want a break in the heart of Champagne growing country then don’t hesitate to book. We will be returning next year.

A l'année prochaine !
Second time staying and hope it will not be the last. Tranquil location and wonderful house. Relaxing stay as the house had everything we could need. Merci Jean-Michel

The Gite it well equipped, three rooms spread over 3 floors, with a large secure enclosed garden. The two of us stayed with our 4 dogs. It’s quiet and rural about 15 min drive from the nearest town with a carefour. A great location to visit Epernay ( 30mins) and the local Champagne producers. We had a wonderful break thank you Jean.

Uriges Häuschen in malerischem Dörfchen in idyllischer Landschaft
Schönes altes Häuschen mit kompletter Ausstattung. Sehr netter Vermieter.

We had a very nice stay in Baulne en Brie. It was a perfect place for beautiful walks directly from the house in the stunning surroundings and our dog was very fond of the enclosed garden. The house was big, clean and cozy, and Jean-Michel was a very friendly host. Julie & family (Denmark)

Great holiday home
A beautiful characteristic house with everything you may possibly need, situated near the champagne vineyards. Our dog loved the enclosed garden (with neighbour dog Mango) and the walks in the neighbourhood. Lots of things to do, we visited a champagne cellar, Condé castle, Epernay and Reims. Jean Michel was a very attentive host, he welcomed us with champagne and delicious homemade jam. We would definitely like to visit again!

Nice Gite in a quiet part of the Champagne
We spent a few days over Christmas in this gite. It is spacious, has a large garden, and is situated in a quiet small village, from where you can take long walks in the country side. The house is comfortable and well equipped. The owner, who lives nearby is a very friendly host.
We enjoyed it!
