New house, kitchen open to large living room, covered terrace, 4 bedrooms, closed garage, vegetable patch with seasonal vegetables. Located in a very quiet area, at the end of the village on the heights, near the fields of sunflowers and the lake where you can walk and even fish there. Clear view of the village and the Tarn valley as well as the countryside surrounding. The Rabastens cellar, founded in 1953, allows you to taste the excellent Gaillac wine. The region is rich in vestiges and monuments from the Cathar era (Albi, Toulouse, Carcassonne) Rabastens is located at the crossroads of St Jacques de Compostela. You can discover in Albi (30mn) the Ste Cécile cathedral as well as the famous Toulouse-Lautrec museum, also at the same distance the Ingres museum in Montauban. Of course Toulouse (40km) will welcome you at the Capitole, at St Etienne cathedral, St Sernin Basilica, in these old districts and also at the Cité de l'Espace where you will certainly spend an unforgettable day. The summer periods offer a multitude of musical events (Albi, Rabastens, Toulouse, Montauban) The pool is secure

Maison plaisante... mais pas adaptée pour une famille nombreuses

Maison dans un quartier calme sur les hauteurs de la Vallée du Tarn à 35 min de Toulouse avec une très jolie vue et des équipements extérieurs très agréables (terrasse, jardin et piscine sont vraiment plaisants). Quant à l'intérieur, si les photos sont fidèles à la réalité, la description des équipements (lits, cuisine, etc...) ne la reflète que partiellement: les couchages ne sont pas adaptés pour recevoir plus qu'une famille de 4-5 personnes (et sans adolescents vu la taille des lits), l'électroménager est vétuste (réfrigérateur et lave-vaisselle principalement) et, alors que la maison est donnée pour 7 couchages, la vaisselle et les ustensiles de cuisine ne sont pas adaptés pour la préparation de repas et le service d'une famille nombreuse (ou pour deux familles souhaitant partir ensemble). Les échanges avec les propriétaires étaient cordiaux mais nous aurions apprécié être accueillis par eux à notre arrivée et pouvoir procéder à un état des lieux (ce qui n'a pas été fait). Nous ne regrettons pas notre séjour mais nous n'y retournerions pas.

Belle maison avec vue sur la vallée du Tarn

Nous avons passé un très bon moment à Rabastens Dominique est un hôte agréable et disponible La maison est bien agencée avec une belle terrasse donnant sur la piscine qui est un plus avec les enfants. Il y a de belles balades à faire autour de la ville, du canoë. Des marchés comme celui de Rabastens et L'Isle sur Tarn sont riches en alimentation et petits plaisirs culinaires

Chouette villa

Belle villa, dans un cadre agréable. La piscine n'est pas très grande mais c'est tout à fait suffisant pour se rafraîchir. Propriétaires sympathiques et discret. Tout c'est bien passé.
