WIFI, A/C,, KAYAK, INFLATABLE SUP, OUTDOOR DINING CONTAINER HOUSE

Two bedrooms plus a loft all with new pillow top queen beds. Sleeps 6 on 3 queen beds. Unique shipping container, loft-style home with beautiful landscaped, shaded courtyard. The house is perched on the hill just minutes to the beach with panoramic views of the ocean. Located in between La Ventana. It's centrally located close to restaurants bars and coffee shops. The house is built from two 40 foot shipping containers spaced 8 feet apart. One wall was cut out completely and then used as the roof between the two containers. Speciality ceramic paint and spray foam insulation was used to insure the temperature in the house is comfortable. There is opening windows in the upper section and in all directions in the lower section to allow a fresh breeze no matter the wind direction. The main part of the house is an open floor plan with a loft. The loft has 4 feet of headroom in front sloping down to 3 feet in back. It's very cozy with great views from the queen size bed. The second bedroom is private with a half bath and air conditioning. The outside of the grounds are landscaped with shade trees and flowering plants watered from the gray water of the house. There is a outdoor dining table and hammocks for relaxing. A 2 PERSON KAYAK AND AN INFLATABLE SUP INCLUDED.

The Container House

This is a very different kind of house. It took us a few days to get used to it but now we don't want to leave. We love it! Joe, the property manager is awesome and the communication with Aaron has been excellent. We will be back.

Both Joe and Aaron were very accommodating. Place was super homey and well equipped with household supplies, towels etc. Great patio with your own “bean bag” game and beautiful plants. Great wifi, lots of hot water and pressure. Highly recommended. Place was very fun!

Paradise Found

As we have always been interested in the container home concept, when we found Casa Cajita we had to try it. The location is perfect- up on the slope in the middle of Ventana, close enough to walk to the market and coffee shop in 10 minutes, Beach in 15. But far enough that there is no traffic or noise. Tranquility! The patio is spacious and spectacular, surrounded by Baja plants, well cared for. The eating area easily seated 10 of us for dinner one night. The view in the daylight is of the bay, for 180 degrees! The interior of the house is very well designed, with lots of space, exceptional kitchen prep area, high ceiling above the kitchen, a large bathroom and shower and an outdoor shower too!. Comfortable bed downstairs. Lots of cupboards for clothes. Our favourite part of the house is the loft. Up the narrow stairs, and with a low ceiling, the loft bedroom is THE secret spot of the house. Million dollar uninterrupted view, especially of sun rise over the bay. The warm and gentle breeze passes through the large windows and over the bed. It’s as close to sleeping under the stars without being outside. To us the loft will be our #1 memory of the week in the Casa. Sad to go, but we will be back. Soon!
