The owners were friendly. It was a nice touch to have breakfast items available. We were in town for a memorial service and this location was close to family and served our needs. There were several of us and many thought it was the best property they had stayed in. We enjoyed having coffee on the deck in the mornings before we headed out for the family gatherings.

Great Accommodations- 2nd time staying

This was my 2nd time staying in West Jordan at the Fly Away Home, it 's perfect for us traveling with another family. The house is always clean & comfortable with excellent host. I would stay here again and again.

Best Vacation Get A Way

We loved this property, the host is sincerely generous and went above and beyond all of my vrbo experiences with providing a clean , functional and updated house. The space is perfect for families that need space, the kitchen is well suited to stay in for a meal and the location is perfect to get around town or up the cottonwood canyons.

Wonderful SLC property

This was our second year staying at Gundi and Jeromy’s property. It’s in a great location close to the airport (20 min), skiing (40 min to Brighton), shopping and restaurants. The house is exceptionally clean and always well stocked. The owners are simply amazing and will do anything to make your stay perfect. We’ll be back again next year for sure!

Fantastic host great property

This property was perfect for our party of 6 with room to spare. Clean and bright, well appointed with everything we could possibly need. Property manager was fantastic - communicative and hospitable. During snow storm even dropped off food and shoveled out the driveway for us. Convenient location to shopping, grocery, restaurants, and ski resorts. Would recommend and will definitely be back for another stay.

A perfect retreat

We were in town for a curling tournament at the Olympic Oval and were lucky to have found this house. It's close to the Oval as well as lots of places to shop and eat. Gundi is the perfect hostess - she was friendly, responsive and ensured that our every need was taken care of. This house is just right for groups as well as families and I highly recommend it!

Wow! Just wow, from the comfortable beds, lovely extras and golden touches this home is remarkable. Perfect for our needs

We stayed 5 nights for my son’s wedding. We have family all over the valley and this house was a perfect location for us to visit them or for them to come to us. The house was well stocked with more than we expected. Everyone who visited us was so impressed with how nice the rental was. We come to Utah often and will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it!

Amazing accommodations!

Jeremy and Gundi have an amazing home that is highly recommended. The fact that they provide a completely stocked home is unheard of. From beverages, to food to cooking supplies and sundries, it saved us a lot of $$$ and allowed us to relax that much more knowing we didn't have to run to the store every time something was needed.

Clean, comfortable and convenient home in West Jordan

Fly Away Home was perfect for our month long stay to Salt Lake City! Jeromy and Gundi were great hosts and extremely accommodating. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked. They even provided some food and snacks to get us started. West Jordan was central for our trips to the ski resorts and downtown Salt Lake City. I would certainly recommend Fly Away Home to other guests and would plan to stay there again if available!

Absolutely BEST ever VRBO!

Can’t say enough about our stay and how accommodating our host was. The minute I met our host they felt like family. We arrived Christmas Eve to a beautifully decorated home and food for a Christmas meal and snacks that lasted all week. Any questions we had were quickly answered. Suggestions given on skiing and other activities. We had weather issues that delayed our departure and they took care of us even then. I would love to stay here again if I make it back this way.

Utah ski trip

The house is spacious and fit five of us comfortably and the property managers could not have been more friendly. They even left a signficant amount of food for us when we arrived. The property managers insistence on meeting us at the house as we checked in was unnecessarily challenging with the changing schedules of our party. We would have preferred to simply have the front door code in advance. But we recommend this house as a very pleasant, inexpensive way to stay in Salt Lake City.

Over the top hospitality!

We arrived at the home and met the owners. I thought that was unusual but I understood as I’d want to do the same if I took as much pride in my property as they do. We got a tour of the home from the charming owners and was surprised to see how well stocked it was with food and drinks, laundry supplies and even packaged toiletries for us! The home was super clean and well furnished. The owners were fantastic and our experience was a 10! Highly recommended!

The property is spacious, very comfortable, clean, and convenient to dining, shopping, and skiing.

Gundy and her son Jeromy are EXCEPTIONAL landlords. When we arrived they met us, gave a tour, and explained house operations. At that point we discovered a fully stocked refrigerator and cupboard. When we needed a room humidifier a brand new one appeared. Our ski group agreed we will stay here during our next ski trip if the property is available.

I am Gunhild Jones was raised in Germany and France. I have raised my family in this valley. We love the beauty and diversity in Utah. We have six children (all grown up, thank goodness). Our family participates in all activities and sports that this valley has to offer, such as hiking, boating, golf, skiing, snowboarding and zip-lining. We understand family and being active and try to make the best out of life. My friends call me Gundi ;).

Why they chose this property

It is an appealing, quite neighborhood with close access to major highways and freeways. Shopping center, grocery store are located in walking distance. Bus stop within in walking distance in neighborhood.
Recently remodeled home, clean and comfortable, perfect for families, small groups, couples and singles.

What makes this property unique

Complementary pantry items. Large deck for outdoor relaxing or dining. Hosts is in close proximity for contact. Short travel distance to attractions, shopping and downtown Salt Lake City.

We would be happy to take you to see the sites for example This is the place pioneer Heritage Park. Please let us know if you have any questions or any special request.

The home can sleep up to 12 people. If needed we do also have an Air Mattress which can easily bring that number up to 14 people. We have a private back for you to use with a fire pit and BBQ. We also stock the Keurig Coffee and breakfast for your 1st day. That way you do not have to run out and get food right away. We have cable TV and Netflix along with a DVD players. We also have a washer and driver and full size kitchen. Two full bathrooms. We are great for family reunions and get together. If you would like a tour of the town or to our Natural History Museum, This the place park or any other sites we have around town, please let us know, we would be happy to take you out to explore.
