About this property

Bordeaux center independent guest house -not an apartment-

Bed and breakfast with private entrance for 1 couple (or 1 family with extra), 1 quiet master bedroom on a 140 cm courtyard, 2 bunk beds in hallway *, 1 private bathroom with shower, double sink and wc. Breakfast to be taken in the room (Dolce Gusto machine), fruit juice and pastries provided. An ideal location in Bordeaux for strolling along the quays while watching the liners pass, eating out, shopping at the Quai des Marques. Right next to Cap Sciences, the Chaban-Delmas Bridge, the World Wine City, the Mer Marine Museum and Hangar 14 (exhibitions, salons), the Inseec and Vatel Schools. The building is at the foot of the tram station "Hangars", 4 stations from the hyper center, Quinconces, Cours de l'Intendance, pedestrian street Ste Catherine, the Grand Theater and the famous Chartrons district (antiquity, flea).
Vcub at 15 m and electric vehicles at 70 m.
* a supplement of 12 euros per person per night is required for the use of single beds in addition to the bedroom. (If you are 2, but you want to use the large bed + 1 small bed, please let me know and note 3 people on the number of tenants, if you want to use 3 beds, note 4 people.)

Nice little gem in the perfect location!

We loved our stay in Bordeaux. The room with bath is in one of the beautiful old houses in the Chartrons area, close to the Cite du vin, and was totally convenient for the two of us. It has a coffe/tea maker and a little fridge, and the super nice owner Martine also equipped it with stuff for a little breakfast in the morning. Will book it again if we come back to Bordeaux!

Tiny Room

This property is a very small room with a bathroom. The images on line make it appear larger. The design is more like a child’s room fit for one person. It was very difficult to move about with two people since there is limited floor space. Bathroom and appliances could use a thorough cleaning. Martine was very nice and showed us in. Her apartment is attached with a separate entrance. The tram line is just outside the door for ease of transit around Bordeaux. There are a number of cafes and restaurants in the area.

Awesome place to stay in Bordeaux, France!

If you are looking for nice place to stay in Bordeaux, France, this is the place to stay. Not only is the room well maintained and cute, the host is so warm, friendly and extremely helpful. For example, we took the bus to Bordeaux, and without us asking, the host gave us directions on how to use the public transportation from our drop off location to the apartment. Upon arriving she also had plenty of maps and brochures on tours and sites to see. Also the apartment has nice touches like a coffee maker, hot water boiler, and breakfast snacks! It’s in a lovely location, just a mile down the street from the Wine Museum- the Cité du Vin! the address for the Wine Museum is 134 Quai de Bacalan)! Information you might find helpful: Our Flixbus drop off location was Bordeaux Saint-Jean, Parking Descas, Quai de Paludate, 33800 Bordeaux, which was only a .322 kilometer walk from (or .2 miles) from the main Bordeaux-Saint Jean train station shop. The public transportation in Bordeaux is called TBM-Transports Bordeaux Métropole. When we got on our first bus, the bus driver sold us a TBM card with two trips loaded, for €3. We used one card for the two of us the entire time we were in Bordeaux. Both the bus driver and the host recommended we only use/need one TBM card for the two of us and just continue reloading it at each station as much as needed. You can reload at most tram or bus stations. Just scan the card once for each person getting on. The TBM network also has a bike share program, that we used when we were site seeing/going from site to site. The bike share program offers 24hours, 7 days and monthly pricing options. Here is 24hours pricing €1.70 | 30 minutes free of charge + €2/hour or part hour. Enjoy, Tay!

Logement répondant à l'annonce. Les plus : nous avons pu garer nos 4 vélos / le logement est très bien situé / très bon accueil de Martine. Le moins : beaucoup de poussière (moutons)dans le logement. Nous avons apprécié les biscottes, confiture, beurre café, thé et chocolat chaud mis à disposition, c'est un vrai plus cependant j'aurais intitulé ça en-cas plutôt que petit dejeuner.

Gute Unterkunft, fast direkt an der Garonne

Kleine saubere Unterkunft, die sehr gut mit der Tram erreichbar ist. Positiv hervorzuheben ist der nette Empfang durch die Gastgeberin und die fast direkte Lage am Fluss. Kleines Manko, ist der Blick in den Hinterhof, sowie das zum Zeitpunkt unserer Ankunft nicht funktionierende Internet. Für einen Kurzaufenthalt empfehlenswert.
