About this property

ALL the amenities at this Park Hill Garden Level Guest Apartment

All surfaces are sanitized, and dishes and linens are washed between guests. My dogs and I live upstairs, so you will hear us occasionally, but I try to minimize any noise as much as I can. Because of this, it's unsuitable for working remotely full time.

The apartment is spacious, immaculate, bright, and serene. You'll have a separate gated private entrance, fully equipped kitchen, queen memory foam mattress, year-round barbecue, 2 electric fireplaces, a full-sized sofa bed, chair, ottomans, dining table, fold down desk, high speed WIFI, and cable TV.

When you walk through the Asian inspired redwood gate, the stone walkway leads you to the large back yard. You'll go through your own entrance, then down a well lit staircase to your private living quarters. Most rooms have dimmable lights.

The bedroom has a thick queen memory foam mattress with two large drawers. There are dimmable reading lights, a remote-controlled electric fireplace, a full-sized closet, light-blocking cordless shades, and a Japanese Zen garden window egress.

You'll have you own full-sized washer and dryer with all necessary laundry supplies (including an iron and ironing board.)

The fully equipped kitchen has pots, pans, bakeware, a French press coffee maker, pour over coffee maker and filters, electric tea kettle, large microwave/convection oven, toaster, two induction cooktops, a garbage disposal, a Bosch dishwasher, granite counters, full sized refrigerator, plates/cups/glasses, cutlery, placemats/napkins, Brita water filter, and complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate, half and half, etc.

In the living room, there's a couch/full sized sofa bed, ottomans, an electric fireplace. and TV trays. There is a flat screen TV with cable, Amazon Prime and Amazon fire stick. The wood table with chairs seats two.

The entire private garden level apartment is exclusive to my guests. You will have your own well-lit private Asian inspired, gated walkway, and you can enjoy sunsets on the gliding bench on your own front porch.

We share the backyard patio which has a wooden table and chairs with cushions, four adirondack chairs, two zero gravity chairs, and two barbecues. In the summer there is fresh produce from the garden and herbs to cook with.

- My dogs are not allowed downstairs. I'll give you treats to facilitate your meetings. Even so, Chèvre will still bark at you. She is Drew Barrymore in "50 first dates." Fauci is my Covid puppy and is very shy.
- The upstairs wood floors of this 70-year-old house do squeak in some rooms.
- There is no smoking or vaping of any kind inside, so use the back patio and or front deck.

Discovering Denver
My husband and I discovered Denver and a few of the surrounding cities very easily from Tina's place. The suite is in the basement of the property (small amount of stairs) and the bedroom area/bath area is separated from the kitchen/living area. Tina is a great hostess and her dog's are just as described and very friendly. If you have pet allergies, the doggos are not allowed in the VRBO area.

Dreamland In Denver
Tina's place truly is your home away from home. Not only is the property amazing, Tina herself is a kind helpful host who instantly makes you feel welcome. The location allows for easy access to anywhere in Denver as well. Checking in and out was simple, privacy was perfect and comfort was king. Also, the price is proper, especially for the proximity to everything we wanted to do. The backyard space was lovely to decompress after a busy day and the (very friendly) dogs were a fun surprise to return to. Everything we needed to feel right at home was supplied in the well stocked living space making it so that the most difficult part was saying goodbye. When we return to Denver, we will look no further than Tina's place to rest our heads. 10 out of 10, will always recommend.

Cozy Comfort
Our stay was so cozy and convenient! I’m very practical and Tina had all the bases covered. It was clean, organized, cute, resourceful even, and it just felt as if we were staying with a family member.

About the host

Hosted by Tina Hartley

Host profile image
Ceramic artist with two border collies (Heureux and Chevre whose names mean Happy and Goat) and a 2 year old Maltese puppy named Fauci.

Being a host fulfills a long-term goal. I've done my fair share of traveling and used that insight to make sure the space caters to all travelers.

Why they chose this property

My home is quiet, serene and a great place to live. We do live upstairs, so it is not suitable for guests to work remotely full time. You will hear some noise, but most guests say it is minimal.

My home is close to major thoroughfares, the city and the airport. This make it an easy place to explore the area. I bought this home to renovate the basement to become a stand-alone apartment.

Denver is a metropolitan city, no longer a cow town. We have excellent business opportunities, an entrepreneurial spirit and the people here are laid back and health oriented.

What makes this property unique

Private entrance, private gate and walkway, and your own front porch with a glider. The huge back yard is made for hanging out and watching the dogs play. This is a "Covid Safe" space with all host / guest interaction done via text and outdoors.
