Friendly hosts and great space

Bruno and Marie were very kind and welcoming. We enjoyed the swimming pool almost every day. The house had plenty of space for our family of 4. Highly recommended for a relaxing vacation in the countryside.

Beautiful property with such friendly owners

Marie and Bruno made us so welcome from the minute we arrived. Their house, the apartment , the pool and grounds are all beautiful. It was like visiting old friends but with our own accommodation. The kitchen had everything you could want - maybe an extra 2 tea cups for les anglais! - and the whole decor was just to our taste. Bruno recommended restaurants in Saintes, a town which is really worth exploring. The loveliest beach was La Grande Côte, park at the far end of Palais sur mer in the free car park. There is a restaurant overlooking the beach which had a good menu du jour with stunning views. Please note, the beds are 140cm, not queen size, just for information.

Dit huisje is nog magnifieker dan het lijkt. Gelegen in een riante, prachtig onderhouden tuin, met een heerlijk zitje voor de deur in de schaduw van een heel grote oude linde. Het zwembad zonder chloor is heerlijk voor de hete dagen. Marie en Bruno wonen op hetzelfde terrein in een eeuwenoud landhuis en zijn zeer gastvrij en behulpzaam.Een aanrader!

Séjour avec mon ado

Nos hôtes nous ont réservé un excellent accueil. Ils ont été charmants et n'ont pas manqué d'attentions. Les photos sont parfaitement conformes à l'annonce. Le logement était très propre, décoré avec goût, il ne manque rien. Tout le matériel de cuisine est présent et de bon gout. La piscine est géniale. A louer les yeux fermés! Merci encore à Marie & Bruno.

Sehr zu empfehlen

Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Marie und Bruno haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Unser Ferienhaus war super. Alles auf dem neuesten Stand und blitz blank. Der Garten ist eine richtige grüne Oase. Wir konnten uns sehr entspannen. Der Pool war für die Kinder super und Tara die Hofkatze war sehr lieb. Rundum ein gelungener Urlaub mit einer Mega Unterkunft.

Le sejour a La Clisse a ete formidable. La maison est adorable, bien equipee et maintenue avec beaucoup de gout. Les hotes etaient tres acueillants et aimables. La piscine est fantastique et les enfants ont aussi aime le citystade a cote. A la prochaine!

Das Haus war blitzsauber und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Pool ist ein Traum. Zu den Stränden ist es nicht weit. Unsere Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit und super nett. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Fantastic Family Holiday

We had a great holiday staying in Bruno and Marie's Holiday home. The house was extremely clean, spacious and comfortable and met all of our holiday needs. The highlight was the superb pool area and the friendly and helpful hosts and their sons Paul and Louis. We were made to feel extremely welcome by the owners, who were always available to assist or advise us with local places to eat at or visit. We were extremely sad when the holiday came to an end but look forward to visiting again in the future. Merci Beaucoup Bruno, Marie, Paul & Louis

Gite et accueil charmants pour de douces vacances !

Accueil chaleureux par Marie et Bruno dans le très beau gite au coeur de leur propriété. On se sent comme à la maison : le gite est vraiment bien équipé et aménagé avec soin, la piscine est le jardin sont très agréables et bien entretenus. Beautiful gite & pool with beautiful gardens.

We arrived early but Marie & Bruno we’re very accommodating & nothing was too much trouble. They gave us a huge welcome basket of fruit when we arrived. The gite & pool we’re just as the photos depicted. The gite had everything we needed for our stay & the pool & gardens were stunning! Although we were not within walking distance of amenities, there was a baguette machine a few steps from the property! Bruno spoke good English but Marie was not so fluent & so together with our limited french vocabulary, it was fun trying to converse with her, but we got by! We would definitely recommend this lovely gite, pool & hosts!

Très belle location où tout est bien pensé pour passer des vacances sans souci avec tout le linge de maison fourni par les propriétaires. Grande piscine d'eau salée chauffée implantée dans une décoration végétale de toute beauté. Excellent séjour à la Clisse

Tout d'abord nous avons passé une excellente semaine à la Clisse (1 couple et 2 ados). Un accueil chaleureux et conviviale de Marie et Bruno et de leurs enfants, ainsi de l'attention qu'ils nous ont porté tout au long de cette agréable séjour. Une corbeille de fruit offerte par Marie et Bruno vous attend dans le gîte. Un gîte bien aménagé, confortable et très propre. A quelle que minutes de Saintes, pratique pour le ravitaillement et les magasins. Très belle piscine dans un environnement arboré avec gout, ou les enfants et nous même avons bien profité. Tolles Haus in La Clisse

Wir haben zwei wunderschöne Wochen in La Clisse erlebt. Das Haus ist vor drei Jahren renoviert worden und sehr geschmackvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, sogar eine Nespresso-Maschine war  vorhanden. Der tolle Pool war natürlich jeden Tag ein Highlight, besonders für die Kinder das Schönste am Urlaub. Die Vermieter Marie und Bruno und Ihre Söhne  sind sehr herzlich und sehr bemüht, dass man sich wohl fühlt. Sie hatten immer Ideen für Ausflüge, Restaurants oder Alternativen bei schlechterem Wetter. Das Aquarium in La Rochelle war auf jeden Fall einen Ausflug wert, und auch der Tag auf der Île d'Oléron war sehr schön. Der nächste Strand in Royan liegt ca. 20 min entfernt. Einen noch schöneren Strand hinter einem Waldstück gibt es weiter nördlich bei Les Mathes/Les Palmyres. Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub, an den wir uns  gern erinnern. Wir können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Séjour très agréable

La maison est très confortable, la piscine un régal, la région (que nous ne connaissions pas) pleine de richesses et d'activités et les propriétaires très sympathiques et de bons conseils. A conseiller vivement.

Le Gite est aussi chaleureux et conviviale que ses propriétaires. Nous étions entre amis ( 4 adultes et 1 bébé ) et avons passés un excellent séjour. ( trop court !! ) Le gite est confortable et propre , Le jardin splendide , sans parlé de la piscine chauffée !! Encore Merciiiiiiiii et à bientot .

Séjour d'une semaine, un couple et 2 ados

Un mot d'abord sur le gîte, refait à neuf, décoré avec goût et très confortable. Et les amateurs de cuisine y trouveront comme nous tout l'équipement nécessaire pour se faire plaisir. Quant à la piscine, elle est magnifique. Ensuite, le gîte est bien situé, au calme, entre la jolie ville de Saintes et la côte. Enfin, et surtout, nous avons été adorablement accueillis par Marie et Bruno, qui ont veillé à nous faire passer un séjour agréable, toujours présents pour des conseils pratiques (et judicieux). En résumé nous avons passé une excellente semaine.

Excellent séjour en Charente Maritime

Le gite a été rénové avec beaucoup de goût et correspond bien au descriptif. Très propre, très pratique, fonctionnel. La pièce principale est spacieuse et agréable à vivre. Le site est très calme. Nos hôtes ont été à l'écoute et, par l'aménagement et la mise à disposition de nombreux matériels, ont anticipé nos besoins. Même les produits ménagers étaient prévus. La piscine et son environnement arboré ont été un réel lieu de détente. Le grand jardin et l'immense tilleul nous ont permis de prendre nos repas à l'extérieur aussi souvent que possible et à l'ombre. De nombreuses activités sont proposées dans un catalogue mis à jour régulièrement par Marie, notre hôtesse. Ce séjour en famille avec des enfants de 6 ans et 2 ans et demi a été très apprécié de tous. À souligner la disponibilité, le sourire et la bonne humeur de nos hôtes. En tant que locataires, nous nous sentons très attendus. Séjour à recommander.

Très beau gîte, tout confort.

Installé dans un cadre magnifique, ce gîte restauré avec soin, nous apporté calme et tranquilité. Nous avons apprécié tous les équipements neufs, la déco actuelle et soignée, la très belle piscine, pour le plus grand plaisir des petits et grands. Les propriétaires, à la fois discrets et attentionnés nous ont réservé un accueil très chaleureux. Ravis de nos visites sur les côtes charentaise et de notre séjour, nous ne manquerons pas d'y revenir.
