A lovely property in a beautiful location.

We have just returned from this great holiday home in the loveliest of locations. This typical Norman house has everything one could want, it really is as good as the photos. The grounds are beautifully kept and the Seine is literally at the end of the garden. Phillipe and Michelle are a charming couple and are great hosts. Jumieges is a lovely place and a visit to the Abbey is a must. The cafe opposite serves superb coffee.

Beautiful gîte in a very peaceful location on the banks of the Seine

We had a lovely few days in this gîte, which is very clean and well appointed. Michèle and Philippe were so friendly and helpful - they couldn't do enough for us. Michèle gave us tomatoes and cucumbers from their garden, and also made us a delicious apricot tart! We ate most of our meals outside on the terrace, and enjoyed watching the ships go by on the river. It was a very relaxing holiday.

The cottage is a delight!

From the 1st moment we set foot on the property we were made to feel incredibly welcome by Phillipe and Michelle. In fact they had made a beautiful apricot gateau for our arrival, and also some cider which was greatly appreciated!! The cottage is so peaceful, it really is an idyllic getaway. I would recommend this gite to anyone and everyone, we had an amazing time and will be definitely returning in the future.

Lamiae et Said

merveilleuses vacances

Fabulous stay in a superb location

We have just had 2 weeks stayng here and the property is wonderful, Michele and Phillipe are very helpful, though as 'novice' french speakers we couldn't chat too much, we managed to communicate enough. If your happy to drive, visits to the D Day beaches and memorials are a must. Honfleur and Deaville are super days too. Travel for free on the ferries crossing the Seine and enjoy a visit to Rouen. The village of Jumieges just up the road has the abbey and cafes for crepes, galettes and evening meals
