Expansive chef’s kitchen joined to the great room with fireplace provides you all the conveniences of home. Peak through the large windows or from the patio with gazebo at the amazing mountain view especially gorgeous at sunset. With high ceilings throughout and a great room living room, front sitting room, second floor bonus room living room and a loft office space plus a 2nd and 3rd bedroom on opposite side of the top floor than the master there is lots of room to relax after you have a chance to explore one of the many outdoor activities in the area.
You won’t want to go home! -Queen four poster bed in master bedroom with vaulted ceilings and expansive spa like ensuite. -Floor to ceiling windows that cover almost the entire west side of the house with unobstructed views of the Rocky Mountains. -2nd bedroom has double over double bunk beds with cozy comforters and brand new mattresses with large window to let in lots of natural light. -3rd bedroom has unique double bed with built in shelf and also a large window for natural light and a brand new comfortable memory foam topped mattress. -The kitchen is a chefs dream with stainless appliances - dual fuel range (gas stove top, electric oven), French door fridge and dishwasher and microwave. Anything you can think of is provided - including fondue sets for those cold winter evenings back from skiing! There is enough dinnerware for 12, and seating for 9 at tables (dining table (6) and island (3). -Treat yourself and relax in the expansive master spa ensuite bathroom with deep soaker tub overlooking the foothills & mountains and tiled barn wood shower with rain drop shower head. -Another full bathroom for 2nd and 3rd bedroom to share and half bath on main complete the home. -Cozy up in the upstairs “bonus room” loft with entertainment leather sectional with recliner and drink holders to watch 70 inch mounted flat screen tv that comes with cable movie package and Netflix access. -Great room with floor to ceiling stone gas fireplace and super comfortable deep loveseats open to the kitchen which makes it super convenient area for guests to visit and entertain while cooking. -Take in the awe inspiring sunsets from the the large 10’ x 26 ‘ patio with unobstructed and side yard access. 8x8 gazebo means that a rain shower won’t ruin your plans to take in the views from outside! -Tastefully decorated to be a cozy home base while you stay and explore all the area has to offer - Calgary, Cochrane, Waiparous, Kananaskis, Bragg Creek, Canmore, Banff and more!
Guest access Upper Suite includes side yard (see photos), private patio, private laundry room and driveway spot. No garage access. Backyard shared with pet friendly lower suite.
Guest interaction Owner Host is welcome to offering recommendations for places in area to visit if needed. Owner host is not on site but a Property Manger is available in area for emergencies. Owner can be contacted 24/7 by phone or email for any questions or concerns.
Neighbourhood overview Brand new neighborhood in most west facing area of Cochrane which means unobstructed views of the mountains and easy access to highway to head west to mountains or into Calgary. Home is west facing backyard with clear mountain views and amazing sunsets off the patio! Less than 5 min walk down the street to Liquor Store, Gym, & Freshii. Cochrane has 3 major grocery stores plus Walmart. A multitude of restaurants of various kinds and a handful of great coffee shops. You will find almost anything you could possibly want in thw town center of Cochrane within a few minutes drive from the house. There is also a neighbourhood children’s playground about two north east blocks from the home
Getting around World class skiing, hiking, fishing, mountain climbing, SUP in area Float down or fish in Bow River (5 min from house) 5 min to Ghost Lake Provincial Park - fishing and sailing 15 min drive to C-train (LRT) (Crowfoot Station) that will take you downtown Calgary. 30 min to Kananaskis & Stoney Nakoda Resort & Casino (which is base to set off for many day trips including white water rafting). 45 min drive to Canmore / Banff area. 35 min from YYC airport. Perfectly in between the many exciting things to do in the city of Calgary and amazing outdoors of Kananaskis and Canmore / Banff. Less than 18 km away from Waiparous (11 000 hectares of public use land park with logging roads - aka a mountain playground) You won't find a better base to explore for your stay! Free Parking on street directly in front of house. Public transportation is very limited. It is recommended that you have a vehicle to get around with. Cochrane taxi can take you to C-train station on the edge of Calgary .

Great stay, clean kitchen - well equipped and we even enjoyed the sauna! Spacious, nice seating and gathering outside on the deck. Great location for heading to Banff etc.
Enjoyed the location while sitting outside in the evening watching the sunset over the mountain ranges with the fireplace going. Kids enjoyed the space to play and be kids without wrecking anything! Huge master bedroom and doing laundry before I can home was a bonus!!
The property gave our immediate family from different parts of Canada (Victoria,BC, Ottawa, Ont., Saint John, NB) a chance to spend time together in the midst of a larger family reunion. The property provided everything we needed and was enjoyed by all. Thanks to the property manager, any special requests were met.
This property worked perfectly for our U18 women’s curling team. Each girl was able to have their own bed as well as coach and house mom . It was close to curling facility and large enough for each girl to have their own space
Our stay could not have went smoother. The house was clean and spacious. The view of the Rocky Mountains off of the back balcony was terrific. There is plenty of parking and extremely easy access to Highway 1A which can take you to either Banff or Calgary within 30-45 minutes.
Had stayed before, my group likes the location, close to a number of good golf courses, house has a great deck with mountain views. Very comfortable beds and furniture, big TVs, beautiful master bathroom.
This property is in a quiet neighbourhood but close to parks (if you have young children) as well as a short drive to all amenities. Check in was very easy and communication with the property manager was excellent and seamless.
The house was spacious and had a great upstairs lounge area. The master bathroom is very nice as well. Overall, a very positive experience and would recommend!
We had a good time but in case you do not see your property much the cleaner you are using we need to critic. We entered the house and first thing we see is that the entrance rug was not vacuumed, (bad curb appeal) and then the floor was not swept or cleaned, oven is dirty and the BBQ grill was bad. We cleaned the kichen surfaces. We were not too excited to go upstairs to the bedrooms. But we were all pleasantly surprised as it was much cleaner. It looks like you have a crew of 2 cleaners.
I hope this review helps as that was the only issue we had. We enjoyed the games you have and we watched Prince Philips funeral upstairs on the big screen TV.

Is was very spacious. I just wish we spent more than a weekend here
Our curling team needed a place to stay while in Cochrane for a weekend bonspiel. Lacey's Mountain House was a perfect fit! Lots of room, beautiful view and plenty of little extras to make our stay perfect. Will definitely stay here again.
We were 4 adults staying in this beautiful property. Everything lives up to our expectations. This lovely hone was very clean and it has all the necessary comforts. I highly recommend this property. The manager is very responsive and thorough in her communications.
This property was immaculate upon arrival and well stocked with everything we needed. It is about an hour outside of Banff National Park. Thanks for the great stay!
Lots of room, great deck with a nice mountain view on the edge of town, awesome TVs. Owner very responsive to a couple of minor issues we had, fixed quickly.
Only addition we would have liked is air conditioning.
Would choose this place over a fancy hotel anyday hands down.
Gives you a nice cozy "home" feeling.

Amazing property with all the comforts of home
What a great place to have our mini vacay. Very comfortable with our two families. The added blow up mattress and couch were fantastic for our teenagers that didn’t want to sleep in the same bed lol. Owner was very responsive and easy to work with and even arranged a late check out making our last bit of vacation that much more relaxing. A great layout, a beautiful home and lots of extras to be found. So impressed with all the living plants, very homey. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the beds to a king or queens. The doubles were pretty cozy. Thanks for opening your home.
