Four bedroom modern villa in Collioure with heated swimming pool (heated if necessary 8th May - 25th September 2027) - about a 15 minute walk to the centre of the town, beaches, numerous restaurants and bars. 10 minute walk to a casino. Excellent views towards the hills, vineyards and Fort St Elme from the terraces. It is beautifully furnished and has three different outdoor dining areas. 2 x double bedrooms, 2 x twin rooms. Hair dryer in each bedroom. Very well equipped kitchen - electric oven and induction hob, full size dishwasher, microwave, large fridge/freezer, kettle, Nespresso capsule coffee machine, filter coffee maker, juicer, toaster and oyster knife! High chair and travel cot available. Spacious lounge/dining area with full length windows opening onto the front balcony and rear terraces with panoramic views. Dining table seats 8 people comfortably as does the wooden table outside on the terrace and the table on the front balcony. Starlink WiFi, Netflix, DVD, Bluetooth player. Table tennis table on rear patio and pool table in basement. Very pretty terraced garden with lockable gate to swimming pool for child safety. Washing machine in basement. Electric heating in all rooms.

Fabulous stay with my husband, kids and Mum. Lovely house, with great amenities. And Collioure itself is delightful. Plus easy access to great beaches and the Pyrenees. Communication with the owner also very good

Fabulous communication from the start of the booking process, with detailed individual guidance through messaging host.Home from home villa with everything you require- fab crockery with Oka mugs! The walk into Collioure is a little hilly but the views when you get there make up for it.A little tip- local taxi drivers don’t respond to text messages so ring them.

Perfect family property

This was our third stay at Villa Darby and once more we found the spacious and stylish interior perfect for our party of 7 adults and a baby.The safe and private exterior space is perfect for barbecue evenings.We had a great week.

Villa Darby deserves all its five star reviews. It is very spacious and is possibly the best equipped accommodation we have ever stayed at. The outside space is fantastic with three terraces to enjoy the magnificent views from. The pool is such a welcome escape from the heat and we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing here every day. Keith has really thought of everything to keep his guests entertained. There is table tennis, pool table, countless games and one of the most eclectic book collections I’ve seen. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return. Collioure is such a beautiful place with its quaint little streets, great beaches and majestic mountains. Villa Darby is the ideal location to explore this wonderful area. Thanks again Keith.

Beautiful Collioure

Fabulous weeks holiday in Collioure with the family. Not our first time to Collioure but had not stayed at villa Darby or this part of the town previously. Villa had plenty of space to accommodate all 7 of us. The views were magnificent from all terraces. We ate at the villa 4 out of the 7 nights and found the BBQ easy to use and all cooking equipment was readily available. In the daytime we spent time either relaxing around the pool or walked into Collioure and enjoyed the beaches. Easy walk down but a bit of an effort coming back up especially for my pregnant daughter in law (they used David's Taxi company to get back up the hill) The only challenging part of this holiday was the extreme heat as we arrived at the same time as a heatwave with temperatures approaching 40 C! The nighttime temperatures made sleeping a bit tricky even with all the fans provided at the villa.Thankyou Keith for sharing villa Darby: loved it

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in dit vakantiehuis en kijken met veel plezier terug op onze vakantie.Het huis is wat ouder en dat is hier en daar zichtbaar door normale slijtage, maar alles was goed schoon en netjes bij aankomst. Het verwarmde zwembad werkte bij aankomst helaas nog niet goed, maar de beheerder heeft dit heel snel opgepakt. De volgende dag konden we er al volop van genieten, wat we erg hebben gewaardeerd.De ligging boven op een heuvel zorgt voor een prachtig uitzicht. Houd er wel rekening mee dat de wandeling naar het centrum of het strand, zeker op warme dagen en met strandspullen zoals stoelen en tassen, behoorlijk pittig is. Met de auto naar het strand van Collioure is een goed alternatief, maar vertrek dan wel vroeg, want de parkeerplaatsen zijn snel bezet.Een groot pluspunt vonden wij de vele spelmogelijkheden in en om het huis. De pingpongtafel, pooltafel en de aanwezige gezelschapsspellen hebben voor veel gezellige momenten met het gezin gezorgd.Ondanks de ventilatoren in alle slaapkamers was het tijdens de warme periode wel behoorlijk warm in huis. Airconditioning zou het comfort in de zomer nog verder verbeteren.Al met al hebben we een fantastische vakantie gehad en zouden we dit huis zeker aanraden aan mensen die op zoek zijn naar rust, ruimte en een schitterend uitzicht.

La maison est spacieuse et sa décoration raffinée et agréable. La cuisine est parfaitement équipée avec beaucoup de ressources de vaisselle. Mais l'une des deux toilettes s'est bouchée dès le début de notre séjour et n'a pas pu être réparée malgré l'intervention rapide du responsable local, et un store de chambre était également en panne.

Maison très agréable, très bien entretenue, très bien équipée et très propre. Nous avons passé de supers moments en famille. Le très joli village de Collioure est à 15mins à pied par un petit sentier avec des marches, c'est vrai que ça monte mais cela vaut la peine pour avoir cette magnifique vue de la maison.

Très jolie maison ! L’accès à la maison et à la piscine est très escarpée il faut etre en forme. Parking devant la maison pratiquement impossible il y’a un parking à quelques mètres mais pas toujours disponible. La vue de la maison est vraiment belle ! Une bouteille de crémant et d’eau fraîche nous attendaient dans le frigo nous avons vraiment apprécié ! La table de ping-pong et le billard nous ont bien amusés. Bémol pour le billard qui se trouve au sous-sol où l’odeur d’humidité n’est pas agréable la piscine (verte à notre arrivée) aurait mérité un entretien plus soutenue, Maison très bien équipée et joliment décorée !!

Merveilleux!

Maison pleine de charme, bien équipée, impeccable. Les espaces extérieurs sont très agréables. Nous n’avons pas du tout été gênés par la route qui passe au dessus de la maison. Nous ne connaissions pas Collioure, qui est une ville adorable que nous conseillerons à nos amis de visiter! Communication facile avec Keith qui nous a donné de bons conseils. Merci encore!

An ideal, beautiful property for a family with adult children! Merci beaucoup!

Lovely stay at Villa Darby - quiet location, loads of fun entertainments in the property! Loved playing table tennis, all the books and games - brilliant for keeping a family with adult children entertained. The kitchen was very well equipped and easy to use. The view from Villa Darby was incredible, the photos really don’t do it justice. Keith’s communication made the stay very easy, especially putting our nerves at ease as we were new to VRBO. We LOVED Collioure, it had more than enough to do for a week, incredible food, lovely beaches, great hikes and very pretty. Each morning we ate breakfast on the local beach which was delightful. The markets shouldn’t be missed either! In particular we loved dinner at Casa Leon and Le Vauban - would highly recommend both. Overall, a truly lovely holiday - we would love to return to Collioure again, there is so much still to do! One small thing to note may be that the property has quite a steep hill up to it - this didn’t bother us at all but can be a little unpleasant in the middle of the day. Something to note if you have mobility issues or young children.

Loved the house, town, and seaside

The house was beautiful and very well kept, with a well-equipped kitchen. The wifi was very weak, but I believe that is a Collioure-wide problem, and the host was very speedy with suggestions to get it going when it lapsed.

Family Holiday

Villa Darby was a very comfortable house, with lots to entertain us with use of pool, table tennis, and a pool table. We enjoyed all the areas we could relax in, but mostly the fantastic views from the villa. Nearby Collioure has much to offer too Keith was always very helpful, answering queries promptly. Thank you!

Fin d'année à Collioure

Vacances extraordinaires passées dans cette superbe maison très bien équipée qui nous a permis d'accueillir nos familles entre noël et Jour de l'An après 2 ans de pandémie. Chacun y a trouvé matière à s'occuper, surtout entre billard et table de ping-pong. Sans parler de quelques bains de soleil sur les canapés du balcon, bref, un temps magnifique typique de Collioure en cette fin d'année. Literie confortable, rien n'a manqué, nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. Et quartier très calme avec une vue imprenable sur les hauteurs de Collioure. L'annonce ne nous a pas trompés, la description a été fidèle à ce que nous y avons trouvé. Nous recommandons fortement et reviendrons sûrement si la maison est disponible. Merci à Keith pour sa confiance et à Monica pour nous avoir préparé la maison et sa disponibilité à la remise des clés.

Villa très belle

On a passé 2 semaine fantastique à Collioure. La propriété est situé dans un environnement calme avec une vue fantastique sur les montagnes. La maison est spacieux, lumineux et très bien équipée . Les enfants (et nous) ont aimé le pool, et on y a passé beaucoup de temps :) la table de billard et de ping pong sont un vrai surplus! Avec Keith, le propriétaire, on a eu un contact agréable et sympathique. Seul petit minus est la propreté quand nous sommes arrivées. Néansmoins on recommande fortement le séjour dans cette belle maison! We spend 2 awesome weeks at Collioure. The Villa is in an excellent position with a great view! The house is spacious and bright and the equipment is excellent. We really loved the pool and spend a lot of time in the lovely pool area. The ping pong and billiard table are a nice to have :) The contact with Keith was pleasant! He's a nice host. We strongly recommand this property!

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette grande villa très agréable et bien équipée. Plusieurs terrasses nous ont permis de varier petits déjeuners, repas et apéritifs en profitant d’une vue magnifique ! La piscine est agréable et bien entretenue avec de nombreux transats (malheureusement assez proche d’une route). Billard, ping-pong… La semaine était trop courte !!!

Merveilleuse villa

Nous avons passé un séjour magnifique dans cette très belle villa très bien équipée, et très bien agencée. Tout a été conçu et prévu pour rendre le lieu agréable. La vue sur la montagne de la terrasse est splendide et le coin piscine un vrai régal. Merci au propriétaire pour ce bon moment.
