"SHORT" WEEK available this year. July 5 - 11 is now available.

Enjoy this newly renovated (2023) first floor 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo that sleeps 8 and is well suited for two families to enjoy vacation together! In July and August, this is a 7-day minimum stay with check in/out on Saturday.

The living room features a wall of sliding glass doors that open onto the secluded wraparound screened-in porch. After a day of sun and fun, it’s a great spot to have a cocktail! The kitchen is clean and well-appointed with all the comforts of home. The primary bedroom has a brand-new queen-size mattress and ensuite bathroom. The next room has a full bed with bathroom just across the hall. The last bedroom has bunk beds plus a day bed with trundle (4 twin beds). There is also a washer/dryer in the condo. In addition, you will have access to the storage closet which houses all the things necessary for the ultimate beach day. Items include: one bike (and one child seat that can be attached as needed), beach cart, beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, tennis racket and balls, even a kite ;-).

We are a smoke and pet free condo and ultra-kid friendly with plenty of games, books and DVDs. There’s a high chair, pack-n-play and, umbrella stroller for your use. We are right across from West Lake with a brand new playground and a quick walk to one of the many pools.

All renters must pack their own bed linens and towels. Linen rental service is available as an alternative. We can provide you with additional information upon request.

Sea Colony is The Premier Family Beach and Tennis Community. Community Amenities & Features: Sea Colony is the premier family beach and tennis resort community, located in Bethany Beach, Delaware. Guests have exclusive access to a half mile of private guarded beach, 12 pools (2 indoors), 34 tennis courts (incl. 14 Har-Tru clay and 4 indoor courts), world class facilities and instructors, and a Fitness Center with an Olympic-size indoor pool and a variety of programs for every age. Year-round adult tennis clinics. Summer tennis clinics for kids.

All guests at Sea Colony are required to purchase a recreational badge per person (per week-Saturday to Saturday) in the summer months, which includes TWO parking passes (there are no additional parking passes).

Nestled in the tennis community at Sea Colony, the property is amidst beautiful surroundings and the screened in outside area was great for mornings and evenings spent chatting outside. Close to local transport stops and sea colony amenities, would definitely return for future visits.

The house was amazing. No complaints whatsoever with the comfort and supplies for the week available for use. This is our 5th stay at Sea Colony and first at this unit. We typically stay closer to an outdoor pool and tram stops, given we travel with my in-laws who are older. This unit is a bit further from those things but no complaints about the unit itself.

Hostess was always available with any questions leading up to our stay. We did not need to contact her during the stay at all. Location was good. Kids DVDs and board games were clutch after the three kids had long days at the ocean. Would definitely stay again in the future!

Quiet getaway

We had a delightful stay here. The location is very convenient to the trolley and bus stop. The house was clean, quiet, and well stocked (kitchen supplies, games, books, beach chairs, etc). Amy was very communicative and the check in/out process was easy. We'd definitely stay again! Next time we'd bring our own pillows and a beach umbrella as we couldn't locate that, but those were very minor and otherwise it was fantastic!

Wonderful condo and great host

The condo was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The screened in porch had enough seating so our family could spend time there in the evenings. I believe they have a brand new sofa that was not pictured. Our host was quick to respond to our needs/questions. We would love to rent this condo again, in the future.

Family stay at Sea Colony

The unit is as shown in the pictures. There was plenty of space and room for at least 7 people to sleep. The living area was comfortable. The kitchen was nicely stocked with cleaning supplies, condiments, and equipment. It was a bit dark as a result of the location, but we were out much of the time.

Wonderful family vacation

This property is perfect for a family vacation. My sister and I planned this trip so our mom could spend time with the grandkids (18 months, 6 and 11) and this condo was just right! We loved the screened porch and proximity to the bus/tram stop and short walk to a pool and playground. If you plan to do a lot of cooking/baking, you may want to bring your favorite pan or utensil. The available kitchen supplies were standard and worked fine for us, but we could have used a larger frying pan and perhaps a cake pan for Rice Krispie treats or brownies, especially since we had a full house to feed. That did not impact our stay or enjoyment of the space. We wish we could have stayed longer to take advantage of all that Sea Colony has to offer! Amy’s communication was fantastic and prompt. Our one small issue with the lockbox was addressed quickly and Amy even extended the time of checkout to make up for the short delay on check-in which was appreciated when having small kids to pack up! We would love to go back to this location again!

Pay attention to details

When we arrived we were locked out. The owner was able to get someone from the cleaning company to let us in as the resort would not. We were not able to receive a parking pass or activity passes as the owner apparently owed money to Sea Colony. the location of this property is as far away from everything as it can be in the far back corner of a large development. The unit itself was clean and served our purpose. This was our fourth trip to Sea Colony over the years, but have had much better experiences. Renters should also check the Sea Colony rules, as they require you to buy activity passes for everyone on property, even if you do not desire to have them, and they also charge for a full week regardless of the length of your stay.

Check in is 3pm. Guest texted at 4:45 regarding keys. As was explained, previous renter did not replace keys to lockbox. Given time of day, it took a few extra minutes to get on site help. Guest was in unit by 5:25. As was explained, we’ve had a lockbox since 2018, this was the first time this has happened. To alleviate this problem in the future, we have added a service charge in the event guests do not return keys to the lock box, and have ensured there is an additional set of keys on site. We are sorry for the inconvenience and hope you enjoyed the $50 Dunkin Donuts ecard we sent during your stay. Our location is in the listing. In addition, our exact location address was included in the personal contract that was sent on 3/19/21. We are a touch over one mile from the Sea Colony beach. Steps from the yellow bus/tram stop, and the Timberlake Pool is at the end of our street. In my humble opinion, nothing is “far away from everything” in Sea Colony. As a guest returning to the community, I am sorry you were not previously informed of the weekly fees during the summer season. These have always been Sea Colony standard policy and procedure. The fees associated with staying in Sea Colony are included in our property description and also included in the personal contract that was sent on 3/19/21. We hope you will find a more suitable location for your family in the future.
