2 bedroom cottage with sleeping loft. Close to everything in the Poconos and located in the community of Towemensing Trails. The Cottage has 1 bathroom and 3 comfortable queen beds. Find everything you need here with high end appliances and high speed wifi with 4K smart TV. (No Cable TV) the kitchen is equipped with cooktop stove, dishwasher, plates and silverware. Please note that there is no oven. Enjoy relaxing in the living room with a gas fireplace and there is a grill out on the deck for those who love to grill.
Close to everything the Pocono region has to offer; Hickory Run lake, swimming, hiking, ski slopes, hunting in the state game lands, local pubs as well as fine dining are each within 15 minutes.
Come out and enjoy nature with deer in the large back yard while sitting on the scenic back deck.

Beautiful relaxing cottage!

Went to this beautiful cottage to get away from it all! I have never felt more relaxed and stress-free. It was great to have a fire in the fireplace and just relax with a book while enjoying the peace and quiet. The house was very organized and clean. There were plenty of clean towels and sheets for our stay. We enjoyed the deer in the back yard and the ability to stay somewhere that felt like home. The owners provided us with free bottled waters and snacks for our stay. It was nice to be able to cook instead of having to spend money and go out every meal. We were able to go skiing one night and the trip was very short. We came home and could thaw by the fire which was a great experience. If you are looking for a fun yet inexpensive get away this cottage is the best place to go! You will not regret your stay!

Cozy Cottage

My sister & our partners spent President's Day Weekend here! We had an amazing time & it was exactly as described. Everything was very neat & clean when we arrived. The living room was very cozy with a couch, loveseat, and chair along with a fireplace and TV. The TV was hooked to the wifi so we hooked into our Netflix account to watch movies together! The dining room table was a perfect size for the four of us to eat and play games on. The kitchen does not have an oven so plan your cooking accordingly! Also there are minimal knives & pans so if you are cooking large quantities or extravagant dishes I'd suggest to bring some along. The dishwasher was very helpful for cleanup. The loft bedroom was very cozy but be sure to turn the heat down well before bed as it does get very toasty up there! The master bedroom was perfect. The bathroom was small but functional. There is a deck on front of the house & out back of the house. Unfortunately February did not allow us to enjoy those. However we did get about 4-5 inches of snow during our stay & their was a shovel & salt easily accessible! Susan was very helpful at all steps of the trip- before, during, and after! Any questions I had she answered promptly and helped us to make this trip a success. We had a great time in & out of the cottage in the surrounding areas. I would highly recommend staying here!

House was nice, but needs some minor maintenance. (Cleaners need to dust ceiling fans)Community beach was closed, due to poor water quality. Didnt know I had to take my own chairs to pool, none were provided @ house. I wouldn't stay there again

Nice place. Cleaning wasn’t good but manager was very attentive and apologetic. Could update the living room furniture as the springs are worn out. Great location and outside is beautiful. Had around 12 deer in the yard last night.

Perfect weekend getaway!

My friends and I stayed here for a birthday party due to covid shutting everything down, and it exceeded our expectations. Perfect spot with tons of activities and food around. We couldn’t get the fireplace to work but Susan offered to drive all the way to come and fix it! It was a nice weekend so the fireplace wasn’t needed at all, but it was still a very nice gesture. Overall, a perfect place to stay for a group of 6.

Birthday Weekend Family Getaway

Stayed at the cottage with my family for a socially distant 21st birthday getaway for my son. Very beautiful and cozy! Throughout the house, everything was neat, organized, and clean. We brought already prepared food with us but had I had to cook a small, separate meal for my husband due to his allergies. Everything I needed was in that kitchen which made it feel like home. It is also important for me to note that my son has Autism. He was very comfortable there and loved spending his birthday weekend at "the Birthday House"! Susan was easy to reach and very responsive. She made the process very simple from start to finish. I highly recommend!

Awesome little cottage

I would absolutely recommend this property. Its the perfect size, everything you need for a weekend getaway is already there. It was clean, and the backyard view was beautiful. We really enjoyed watching the deer walk through the yard. It was easy to find and the owner made the whole process very easy.

Amazing and would stay again!

My boyfriend and I enjoyed staying here! The cottage was bigger than expected and very cute. It was also nice that the two lower level bedrooms lead straight to the deck. The outdoor lights were beautiful at night and the fire pit was easy to set up. Everything was clean and organized! We also were in love with the fireplace on cold nights. One thing I would say could use improvement are the couches. They were a little tough to sit on because you sunk in too far as if there wasn’t anymore support, but otherwise no issues! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Birthday weekend getaway

My girlfriend and I made a last minute decision to go away for the weekend some place that was covered safe and we wouldn't necessarily have to leave the location for food or drink. It was a short 75 minute drive from my home to the cottage. Susan was extremely responsive and helpful before enduring the stay. We made extensive Use of the gas fireplace and outside grill. We were able to use the fire pit only one night but It worked fine using a handheld lighter provided. One thing I did not notice when I booked the cottage was the fact that it has a full kitchen except there is no oven. I have brought some frozen pizzas that I thought about trying to cook on the grill but instead I took a ride down to the local meat store only a couple miles away and got some beautiful cuts of steak and chicken. Due to Covid 19, most of the local shops were closed but because we are only there for a couple days, it really did not matter. We will look forward to coming back in the spring or summer time post Coverd 19 to take full advantage of all the surrounding amenities and scenery.

Great place to relax

The home was just as described. Loved the gas fireplace! The bed was comfortable enough. Kitchen had what we needed, but the pots and pans were pretty rough. Would love to stay in the summer and enjoy the deck.
