Lidie's Place - A Secluded Forest Cottage

A 2 bedroom, one bath cottage in the woods that has been recently renovated and sleeps 5 people. Adherence to occupancy policies and limits is strictly enforced. These policies are in place for your safety as well as the protection of the vacation home and the vacation rental industry. A new bathroom, cozy gas fireplace, washer, dryer, and a 5 person spa awaits your arrival. A knotty pine interior with rustic butcher block counter tops and an enclosed 3 seasons porch to relax the afternoons away that brings you back to days of old. Come and enjoy our secluded country cottage and leave refreshed. Dogs are welcome at a cost of $25.00 per dog - 2 dog maximum - 2 Night Minimum is required on all stays.

Great find!

We were looking for a relaxing getaway with our two dogs. So happy we came across Lidie's Place! It is exactly as advertised. Beautiful little cottage, very well-maintained and cozy yet still providing plenty of room for all. The owner met us on arrival and gave us a quick tour which was very nice. Although they live right next door we never heard or saw them again, but knew they were just a call or text away if needed. The home is perfectly decorated and instantly provides a warm and welcoming environment, The peace and quiet we enjoyed was priceless! We felt like we were away from the world, but stores, restaurants etc are only a few miles away. So happy we found Lidie's Place and we are already planning for a return visit when we can hopefully stay longer. Thank you Kerrick's for sharing this fantastic home.

Secluded cottage

We had a wonderful time staying here. The house was clean and everything worked as should. The outdoor jacuzzi was a great plus. We brought our dog, who enjoyed the fenced in backyard.

Long Weekend Stay

We had a great 3 day stay in the poconos. It was just what we needed to relax and unwind for a little bit. Our dog loved the fully fenced yard. Everything was just as described and we will definitely be back.

Cozy Cottage

Wonderful cozy space with an adorable rustic cabin feel. We loved the fire place, fenced backyard, and hot tub! You’re far enough in the woods to feel secluded, but still only minutes from Wawa, a grocery store, Dunkin, and various other shops. Our story will forever involve Lidies Place as we got engaged in the backyard! Can’t wait to go back.

Perfect Relaxing Weekend Getaway!!

I wanted a place where I could go with my husband and our 2 dogs for my birthday weekend with the requirements that it be within 2 hours of Philly, had to allow the dogs, and that it had a hot tub! This place checked all the boxes and I am so glad we chose it! It was perfect for what we were looking for. We spent most of the time just hanging out on the couch or in the hot tub. The dogs loved the fenced in backyard to run around and play in. The home is fully equipped to cook meals in the kitchen, we cooked all of ours there. The son met us when we checked in to give us the tour and lay of the land, the owners (his parents) live right next door, we never saw them the entire time we were there, though. It is totally private. Location is great, it's not far off the main road and close to shopping and stores but you still feel like you're remote and far away. We checked out some local retail stores, got a massage at a local place, and definitely recommend Holy Ghost Distillery and Da's Pub! We loved our stay and they even left some dog treats for our fur kids to enjoy! We will definitely stay again in the future!

Long weekend getaway

Lidie's Place is as listed. It is a charming 2 bedroom cottage with a kitchen that has just about everything you could need. The gas fireplace in the living room is wonderful. The fenced in yard is also nice for privacy. The hot tub is an absolute must! It is so great, and the jets are amazing!

This house was awesome! It was clean, comfortable, and cozy. We all loved it. The hot tub was really nice, we really enjoyed it, also enjoyed hanging out at the fire pit. Definitely give a 10 on this, will be back again.

Love Lidie’s Place!

We came for a short getaway to relax and enjoy the area around Blakeslee. Lidie’s Place turned out to be a hidden gem. The house was great and provided everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and the hot tub was fantastic. We were greeted at the door by the owner, who gave us a quick, informative tour. The house is in a great location for anything you might want to do in the area, and there is a basket of brochures for things to do and places to eat. The house has an enclosed front porch with games as well as a fire pit in the backyard. All in all, it was a great home away from home, and we will look forward to coming back in the future. We highly recommend a stay in this well appointed cottage! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great Location

We enjoyed our weeklong stay. The fenced yard was private and perfect for our 14 month old pup. The kitchen served our needs. The rest of the house was warm and welcoming. There were many hiking opportunities within a 15 minute drive including a very unique geological/bog area at the Nature Conservancy’s Hauser Center. Also nearby, within a short drive, was an organic market, traditional supermarket, butcher who sells top quality and exotic meets and a Wawa.

Perfect Pocono Cottage

Clean, comfortable, extremely relaxing cottage in a quiet location. Wonderful hot tub. Hosts are close by and wonderful!!! Loved the fenced yard for our dog. Close to many nice towns to explore. Highly recommend.
