A quaint cottage in a secluded location. Clean, well stocked, with all of the listed amenities. The host was very responsive to questions and requests.
The cottage was perfect in every way. Clean, up to date, and check out/in instructions were clear. The property was incredible and stunning. Enjoying coffee on the porch listening to the birds was remarkable. Would definitely stay at this property again and again. For being called a cottage it was perfectly sized. The bedrooms were spacious, the kitchen was the perfect space for cooking. Would love to come back in the winter and experience the indoor fire places
My family and I love staying at the cottage the host is always making improvements to make it more comfortable like the giant sectional that’s in the living room in front the fireplace now! Looking forward to staying again next year!

We’re so glad you love the improvements to the cottage! Hope to have you back in Stoddartsville.
I love this location and the hosts. This was my second visit. If you want a relaxing cozy getaway- I highly recommend it. Bed was comfy- sheets and towels are great. Lots of extra blankets if it gets chilly. The wrap around porch is fantastic.
The cottage was lovely and peaceful, the area was very serene and quiet. The views of the Lehigh river were beautiful and the host was great to communicate with. Wonderful relaxing chilly March weekend in front of the beautiful fireplace!
This was our second stay and we will definitely be back!

We deeply respect the conservation efforts regarding the land. However, we would liked to have known the political environment before booking our stay here. As the hosts were comfortable advertising their political beliefs to guests, we would have appreciated the integrity to include that in their photos and description of the property. People who feel unsafe around supporters of, or morally opposed to, MAGA ideology deserve the opportunity to make the decision whether to book accommodations here with all relevant information.

We’re sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay. The owners do not have any political affiliations advertised on or near the rental properties. Any political signs are on neighbor’s properties.
Cottage was very clean, kitchen was well supplied and efficient for cooking, living room had comfortable room size couch, plus large TV with streaming sites available and a fireplace to use in cooler weather. The best extra was the large porch, loved sitting there relaxing in the quiet surroundings and watching the birds and chipmunks and even saw a deer a couple times. During a rainstorm while there, the porch was a great place to watch it all. The cottage was central to alot of destinations, went to Hickory Run State Park, and Tobyhanna Lake. Took a longer drive to Tannersville area to the Mt Airy Casino, a candle shop and nice restaurants. Just a few miles from the cottage on RT 940 there is a great restaurant called "The Jubilee", they serve a fantastic breakfast but the dinner is even better. We are a senior couple so didn't do any hiking and other outdoor activities but there are many around, great for a couple or family and if you're just there to relax the cottage and porch fit the bill.
The property was exactly what we needed. It was comfortable, cozy, not overwhelming. The property had many ammenities toiletries, linens, comfortable beds. It is private, tucked away from the outside stressors. It rained our weekend but that was fine, nice warm fireplace, nice fresh eggs and quality time with my better half. The staff was responsive to everything. We look forward to returning again, without the rain. We were very happy in our choice
This home and property were lovely and it was so great being on the water and within walking distance to beautiful falls. Our only negative feedback is that we were expecting a more private setting vs multiple homes being within eyesight from one another. The hosts were super communicative and accommodating!
Lovely place. Made good use of the fireplace and the porch. It's nice to listen to the river having coffee in the morning.

We loved our stay. Everything was spotless, the heat AND fireplace worked perfectly (helpful hint: bring the firewood in to warm up), there were extra blankets, and even some snacks! We walked over to the river which was beautiful, but it was a pretty wintry weekend so we want to come back and stay in the cabin instead so we can eat by the water!
What a wonderful respite from our urban life. From the time we checked in, which was effortless, to our departure everything about this cabin and the surrounding area provided exactly what we needed. The combination of silence interrupted only by the sounds of the river eased us into a state of relaxation we had hoped to achieve.Stoddartsville provided plenty of opportunities for exploration. Hiking near the falls and mill ruins, along the rushing river and of course visiting with locals (goats and chickens) brought a sense of reset to our souls and smiles to our faces. This experience was not limited to just us humans, our dog Roscoe exhibited the zoomies with puppy like enthusiasm. The hike to the cemetery provided a glimpse at the history of the origins of Stoddartsville with the rock foundations of homes long gone and the historical marker that details John Stoddarts vision for the town.We have shared our experience with family and friends and hope to return. One last share; the hosts were friendly and responsive throughout our stay.

We’re so glad you enjoyed Stoddartsville! Wonderful pictures!
An absolutely amazing stay! The cottage was clean and provided us with the “home away from home” experience but in a tranquil setting without the hustle and bustle of our every day lives. Owners were very responsive and helped to make our getaway wonderful. Beautiful location.. scenic, peaceful, & relaxing. We enjoyed the fireplace, reconnecting with nature, sitting on the porch, and the overall accommodations. Looking forward to returning sometime soon.
Cabin was great. Cozy, loved the fireplace. Location was also great (quiet, secluded) Hosts were responsive when we asked for more firewood. Great visit overall!
