We had a great time. The only complaint is that the internet for the tv we had to keep connecting the WiFi. It was very cozy and nice loved the floors that felt like they were heated.

We had a nice stay here. Keep in mind it was brutally cold, negative temps with the windchill, and the heat held up fine. The wood burning fireplace was also very nice. The only thing I would change is better directions into the place. You want to stay left at the fork and with all the snow it is near impossible to turn around if you have to go right (we also arrived late in the pitch black). Also if you plan on cooking, bring your own frying pan, there was none onsite. Overall very nice house, great hot shower, nice towels, etc. Kids loved the loft space as well.

Thank you for visiting. I am glad you had a nice time even though it was one of the coldest weeks I remember in a long time.
I apologize about the missing frying pans.
We have now equipped the house with a new set of pots and pans. Thank you for letting us know.
Warm and comfortable cabin on a lovely wooded property with trails and meadows to explore! My kids enjoyed visiting the treehouse, climbing trees and skipping rocks on the river. The dog was in heaven. We took a day trips to state parks nearby for hiking and fishing. Look forward to visiting again in other seasons.
Very private. Paths to the treehouse & river are clearly marked, great views from the yard. The house has all the things needed for a relaxing getaway.
This is my third time staying at this location and it gets better every time. The house is comfortable and beautifully decorated. If you're looking to stay in the area, I couldn't recommend it more.
We loved the peace and quiet of this property. The house was beautiful inside and out. We thoroughly enjoyed hiking to the river and the scenic views. We do wish we had known about the two small cabins along the driveway that seem to be a part of the same property that also had guests at them. We did not interact with them and there is a small set of trees between the hosues firepit and theirs but it would have been nice to know up front.

I am happy you enjoyed your stay and hope you come again.
In regard to the small guests cabins, they each sleep 2 and are great for couples or if a larger group is interested in renting the house and cabins together, this allows for an additional 4 people than the occupancy of just the house . The property is 35 acres and the cabins are about 1 and a half football field lengths away from the house, with trees in between. Far enough to make it private but close enough to work for a large family to have additional sleeping accommodations.
Very cute cabin and property. Like others have said it's not private as there are 2 cabins close by but far enough away not to be bothered by it. The tree house was very cute, but was also being used by the other 2 cabins. Loved the large yard my dogs and children could run around in. The owner is very quick to respond to any concerns or issues. We loved the area as it's in the middle of lots of attractions we wanted to see and 6 to 10 minutes to a beautiful hiking area with multiple trails. The only downside was there wasn't a washer and dryer on sight but laundromat was less than a 10 minute drive away. The fire pit was also nice with all the chairs around it. We had a great stay.
The property was large and beautiful. The house itself was beautiful, had large fireplace, comfortable seating, great kitchen for cooking. Super relaxing vibe. Definitely will stay there again.

We stayed here a few days, and just loved this place!! It was the perfect fall retreat!! The home is uniquely decorated & comfortable!! Thank you Jennifer!!
My husband and I were looking for a quiet place to unwind a bit. This place fit exactly what we were looking for. The house was so unique and we enjoyed our stay. Our son and daughter came and stayed a night and they loved it also.
Everything was terrific. The cabin was gorgeous, the property beautiful. We saw a lot of local wildlife. I would recommend anyone looking for a nice, quiet, secluded vacation to check it out.
My friends and I have been scheduling an annual trip for close to a decade now. This was the best cabin we’ve ever booked, hands down.
