We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and serene cabin. The pictures do not do it justice. The charm and coziness of this lovely place that is tucked away in your own little escape to nature will make you never want to leave. From the beautiful back deck with a hot tub, the screened in front porch with a porch swing, and the individual swings on the lower part that overlook the pond, you won’t be able to decide where to relax and take in the views first. I definitely recommend booking this amazing stay.

The cabin was spotless—pictures don’t do this rental justice! This two-bedroom, one-bath cabin sits on a beautiful hundred-acre property, and it’s the perfect spot for a short or extended getaway to relax and unwind. We loved the peace and quiet while soaking in the hot tub. The owner was very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Loved our getaway

Dreamy location nestled in the woods. Just far enough off the beaten path to feel like an escape, close enough to stores if you need. Immaculately appointed with ample porch space to take in the woods and scenery. Just the right size for the three of us plus doggo. Owner was very responsive to communication and takes obvious pride in his property.

About the host

Hosted by Rodney Rogers

Host profile image
Hello! I'm Rodney Rogers, and my wife Christie and I are the proud owners of Hideaway Haven. As lifelong South Carolinians, we love sharing the beauty and peacefulness of our corner of the Pee Dee with guests from near and far.

We believe great hospitality is all about the little details. Our goal is to provide a clean, comfortable, and truly relaxing getaway where you can disconnect from the everyday and reconnect with nature. From the moment you arrive, we want you to feel at home.

Hideaway Haven has become one of the most-reviewed cabins in South Carolina, and we're grateful for the many returning guests who continue to choose our cabin year after year. We take pride in providing exceptional service and are always available if you need anything during your stay.

Whether you're visiting for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or simply a quiet retreat, we look forward to welcoming you to Hideaway Haven and helping make your stay one to remember.

Why they chose this property

Hideaway Haven sits on land that has been in the Rogers family for more than 60 years. Once a working tobacco farm, this special property has been lovingly preserved and remains a place where guests can experience the quiet beauty of the South Carolina countryside. We purchased the property in 2004 and have enjoyed sharing it with visitors ever since.

With just one cabin on 100 private acres, you'll enjoy complete seclusion surrounded by towering loblolly pines, peaceful walking trails, a scenic pond, and abundant wildlife. Deer, wild turkey, and a variety of birds are frequent visitors, making it easy to slow down and reconnect with nature.

If you're looking for a peaceful escape that's close to everything, Hideaway Haven offers the best of both worlds. You're only about 50 miles from Myrtle Beach, making it the perfect home base for families or couples who want to enjoy the beach during the day and return to a quiet, private retreat in the evening...away from the crowds, traffic, and noise.

Whether you're soaking in the hot tub, enjoying coffee on the screened porch, or simply taking in the sounds of nature, Hideaway Haven is a place to relax, recharge, and make lasting memories.

What makes this property unique

Hideaway Haven was thoughtfully designed to blend rustic charm with modern comfort. Perched above a peaceful ½-acre pond stocked with bass and bream, the cabin offers beautiful views and a relaxing setting from every angle.

Much of the cabin was built using pine harvested directly from the property, giving it an authentic character you won't find anywhere else. You'll discover handcrafted touches throughout, including the custom spiral staircase and a vintage farmhouse sink that once served on the original family farm, details that celebrate the property's rich history.

Outside, a 20-foot waterfall creates the soothing sounds of a mountain stream, making it easy to forget you're in South Carolina. Surrounded by towering pines, abundant wildlife, and complete privacy, you'll feel miles away from it all while still being only 15 minutes from shopping, restaurants, and Walmart. It truly offers the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience.
