Preparations for your stay @ Willow Pond

With your trip to Willow Pond, I want to let you know what I and our staff are doing to ensure that our home and property is clean, sanitized and will be a safe & wonderful place to spend time ,and get away from it all! We’ve owned the home & property for over 25 years, and it is a destination in of itself. We are empty nesters, & now live a few minutes away. We have re-decorated, and made several improvements to be able to offer a true “home away from home”, 5-Star vacation experience to our wonderful new friends.

During this time of social distancing we try to block a minimum of 48-72 hours between guests. If you look through the reviews, you’ll read how clean the house is. We have a very strict cleaning procedure in between every guest. (Even before the current situation) Everything from top to bottom is cleaned and sanitized. All bedding, including mattress, pillow covers, sheets, blankets, comforters are washed, so beds are spring fresh for you. All throw blankets are washed, every door knob, light switch & every surface is disinfected, & cleaned. Refrigerator & appliances are all deep cleaned. All floors are steam cleaned, baseboards cleaned. All pots, pans and dishes are washed & put away. The grill is cleaned, and the porch & pool house are cleaned and ready. We have a dedicated staff, that only work for Willow Pond. They are well educated in proper cleaning procedures, and wear gloves & masks. We go the extra mile. Our cleaning fee is $399, but we invest more than double that amount in labor prior to your stay. You will find the home and property at our 5-Star+ level.

In colder months and when open, our pool can be heated for a nominal daily fee. Phillip our property steward will stop by periodically to keep it pristine, as well as straighten the pool area. In addition, we recently stocked the lake and dropped brush in, so fishing and picnicking will be nice. We also have a wood burning fire-pit with wood & firestarters provided. There’s a Corn-hole set in the yard, along with games & the fully equipped Old Hollywood style movie theater. With food & drink close by, your family will have a fabulous time just staying on property. It really does have that luxury farmhouse resort feel.
And if you are working remotely, Willow Pond has ultra high-speed wireless internet, with both 2G & 5G connections.
