It was wonderful to take a long weekend with the pups. Having a quiet place to come home to after enjoying Nashville was such relief. The hosts were welcoming and accommodating, along with the very adorable peacocks, ducks, and geese that lived on the property. We really enjoyed our stay!
This was the second visit to this property and it remains an outstanding experience away from all the craziness. It's truly a peaceful, relaxing and comfortable location surrounded by trees, with lots of birds of all types, and the host, Lucia, is superb. The daily freshly baked bread and stocked fridge for a complete breakfast is an amazing touch. Will definitely make it a third time if the opportunity presents itself again.
We had a very relaxing weekend at Evergreen Farm. This was our second year to celebrate our anniversary here. The food provided was very much appreciated, especially the fresh bread every morning.
We were blessed to have been able to share Gisla's (sp?) little piece of paradise. Lucia was prompt with any questions we had and Rodrigo was very helpful.Fresh baked bread was delivered to our door every morning. This stuff was so good it didn't need butter or anything. We'd just tear off pieces and eat them. And the peacocks are cool!
Had a great time. Very nice people and wonderful wildlife. The cabin was very comfortable and the property overall was spectacular. Remarkably private for being so close to Nashville. We would definitely return.
This property is just amazing! One of a kind experience. Lucia and Stefan were so helpful and we had all the privacy we needed. Loved the beautiful birds and all the landscaping. The cabin was rustic and cozy with a log fireplace for chilly evenings in. Just about 20 minutes to downtown Nashville in a very pleasant and safe area. We’re planning to visit again next time we are in the area!
Beautiful and quiet place to stay with quick access to the Nashville sights. Breakfast items were stocked in fridge for our use. Enjoyed sitting on the porch to start our day and take in the sounds of the geese and peacocks. Lovely place!
This was exactly what i was looking for and more! Perfect place to let your dogs run and then relax by the fireplace.

The cabin was cozy and the kitchen was fully equipped! Delishous homemade bread delivered daily. The only issues we had were the pollen on the porch made it unusable, and that we were not prepared for the amount of large birds around our cabin. The goose would hiss if went near the pool and the peacocks were on our porch and bridge constantly. They would screetch at all hours. As someone deathly afraid of birds this made the stay uncomfortable. Everything else about the cabin, grounds, and property were delightful.

To whom it may concern ... the pollen is of course a seasonal matter ... but these where the first guests in 17 years that found it bothersome ... the groundkeeper sweeps and sprays the porch regularly ... I agree the birds can be quite noisy at times ... in the spring time you hear them more because it's there 'special' season ... please let me know if you should have any question about a possible visit at the Evergreen Farm ...
This precious cabin made it so easy to unplug and enjoy the nature & atmosphere! We had a fire burning essentially the entire time and enjoyed being away from the noise of the city for a weekend.
This was undoubtedly the best vrbo that we have ever stayed. The place is beautiful and the cabin was stunning and she also stocked the fridge with plenty that we didn’t have to get anything. She delivered fresh baked bread every morning plus it was 18 minutes to Nashville broadway street where almost everything is. Excellent stay
My wife and I had a wonderful stay. The cabin was spotless and very comfortable. Fridge was stocked with more than enough items and the fresh bread each day was an added treat. Lucia was an absolute sweetheart. She called us personally prior to arrival to make sure everyone on the same page and was easily accessible if needed. Jill and Rodrigo were great as well. Always nearby but respectful of your privacy. The grounds are absolutley amazing. Our dog Gunner was in heaven. The peacocks are loud but such beautiful birds..and quite friendly. I was also shocked by how easy a drive from the cabin to downdown Nashville..about 20min. I would highly recommend this rental and we talked about making it an annual destination. You can truly feel the history here....and the amount of thought and love the family put into this wonderful property!
From planning, arriving, to leaving it was so easy. The details from the pictures is even more than expected. Magnificent surrounds, hospitality unbelievable and the coziness and cleanliness of the cabin was beyond expectations. We are planning a return visit in the fall. How can you top beautiful peacocks walking around to freshly baked bread delivered to you each morning. For me, it was not only quiet and peaceful but it had a very calming feeling whether sitting on the porch or listening to the crackling fireplace at night. Thank you for sharing this retreat like atmosphere!
Absolutely a 10/10! We will definitely come back another time later in the spring. The cabin is perfect all you need to do is bring your clothes everything you need is already there including the blooming daffodils, saucer magnolia and Bradford pears. The peacocks that joined us for morning coffee and the fresh bread delivered each morning were great way to begin the day not to mention the views of the pond covered with Canadian geese and ducks. Morning and evening walks through the pastures this time of year were nice and relaxing. A piece of Tennessee paradise for sure.Liked: Clean, well stocked, very hospitable!
