About this property

Family Friendly Charming +Clean 5 Bedroom House,

We love to rent homes when we travel. We purchased this brand new rental property for families, business travelers, and friends to gather in and enjoy!

This 5 bedroom house has all the amenities in mind! A small sitting room for coffee or conversation greets you when you walk in the door. The floor plan opens up to the living area that has a leather West Elm cozy couch to watch movies on and an eating area to share a meal. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals . The upper level has 4 bedrooms and a laundry room. There is a master suite with a king bed and a walk in closet that has a crib (for those with a baby). Two of the other bedrooms have queen beds and the fourth room has 2 twin beds. The laundry room is conveniently located on the upper level! It has a full size washer and dryer and a folding area!

The finished basement is the space for FUN! A futon and bean bags, a big screen TV, and a game table with an array of games is the place to get your game on! Spend hours together or send the kids down to a worry free play zone! There is also a fifth bedroom in the basement with a queen size and twin bed! The back yard is fenced and has an expanded patio area to grill and sit on some cozy furniture while taking in the Colorado sunshine!

This house is in walking distance from a small neighborhood park, a gas station, Backyard Bar and Grill, and other little shops and restaurants. . It is conveniently located a mile off the interstate (1-25). Monument is a quaint little town that has several little shops and eating places, coffee shops, and has access to the Santa Fe Trailhead. Colorado Springs is just minutes away.

This is the perfect place to stay if you are traveling for a wedding in the Monument/ Palmer Lake area. We are 7 miles from Spruce Mountain Ranch, 1.5 miles from the Hearth House, and 4.8 miles from The Historic Pinecrest.

We are also the home away from home for many Air Force parents and visitors. The house is located only 8 miles away from the North Entrance of the academy.

We would love to host you for whatever your reasons are for traveling to the area!

Colorado wedding

Check in and communication with Host was super easy. Beautiful House with well stocked kitchen to prepare meals. Beds were very comfortable and everything was exceptionally clean and inviting. Plenty of games and toys for the children, and plenty of space for the adults to play card and board games.Absolutely Loved the accommodations and would definitely stay here again !!!

Great Christmas stay

Fantastic Home close to USAFA

Our family of 7, mostly teens and young adults, had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy this beautiful home. Location was convenient to USAFA which was helpful as we made several trips back and forth. The home is well equipped with everything you need. Checking in and out was a breeze and owners were responsive to any questions we had. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Fabulous House!!

We stayed here for our son’s graduation from the Air Force Academy. The location was perfect!! The house had every amenity needed to make meals for family. We loved grilling out and having dinner on the beautiful patio. There was enough space for everyone to spread out and our young adult children enjoyed the basement area to watch tv away from the adults. This was the best house we’ve stayed in by far. Our whole family said it’s a 5 star house.

Thanksgiving 2023

This is a great house with plenty of space for a large family and friends. We were a party of 8 with one person visiting from Denver. We were able to cook Thanksgiving dinner in a fully equipped kitchen and we watched a lot of football. The home was clean, well stocked and the beds were comfortable! Thank you!

South Carolinians in Monument

Meghan's beautiful house was perfect for our family. There were 9 of us who fit perfectly in the 5 bedrooms. It was a very nice 4-night visit to Colorado, thanks to our stay in Meghan's house! Meghan relieved our stress by offering extra time in the house because of the blizzard. We WERE able to get to the airport, but she was so sweet and hospitable to us. I don't know when we will get to the Colorado Springs area again, but we would definitely stay with Meghan again!!!! Her house was supplied with everything we needed, and we wished we could have stayed longer. We did quite a bit of traveling around the area, and it was nice that the house is so close to I-25, convenient to reach all the nearby towns... like Colorado Springs, Peyton, Castle Rock, and Denver.

Perfect house perfect location

The House was just as described and the pictures were dead in! It was PERFECT for our family who were attending our daughters wedding. The location was perfect, the neighborhood very nice and we were close to everything! All of the bedrooms were big, the bed sizes were perfect for our group needs! Felt like home.

Excellent Experience!

A group of extended family members from Wisconsin stayed here for a family wedding. This was the perfect home for us and our needs. Multiple bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate everyone. The location was great! A simple drive for sightseeing and an easy walk to gas station and some restaurants. Megan was excellent to work with and checked in via text to see if everything was ok. The house is beautiful and clean and worked well for us!

Fit our needs.

Needed a place to stay in town for friends and family in town for a wedding. Communication with owners was excellent, place was nice and clean, had everything we needed. Maybe a few less pillows on the bed would be only comment, but thats my personal opinion.
