This beautiful loft cabin includes 4 bedrooms, all with full-sized beds, 2 baths, a full kitchen, eating area, and living room as well as a reading area and south-facing sunporch. Sleeps 10. Tucked privately in the woods on the river, and yet Walmart and the rest of Ladysmith is only a few minutes away. Only a short 17 mile trip to recently expanded Christie Mountain in Bruce where you can ski, snowboard, and enjoy the tubing hills.

Love Northern Wisconsin

Lots of room, great living and outdoor spaces. Plenty of parking. Fabulous shower!! Beds a little hard for our backs but otherwise very comfortable home. Fully utilized the kitchen which was well equipped. Thank you for the coffee!!

Quiet, Beautiful Surroundings

We love our time spent at this beautiful place, though limited. We attend the annual Fall ride to “Honor the Fallen” and stay at this lovely home with family and friends for the weekend. Time spent together making new memories. Thanks for providing us a chance to share your home with us to gather for more memories to be made for us to share with our friends and families ❤️

Because there are builders in the family, it made sense to build the family cabin as well. Lots of love went into the details. We've had so much joy, peace and laughter sharing our special place with friends, we thought we'd open it up to let you make your own memories when we're not there. Our dream is that you find that same sense of peace when you walk in the door. Blessings!

Why they chose this property

Growing up with an old log cabin, our family was interested in that family gathering place on the water without all the maintenance that came with a 100 year old building. We collected many of the building materials through auction houses. We cut, planed and routed the wood used. Much of the cabin is handmade from the round mirror to the kitchen cabinets to the bed frames. It was truly a family endeavor.

What makes this property unique

We love to hang out on the porch with a cup of coffee or play games. The kitchen table is big enough for large family meals. And sitting around the campfire with s'mores fixings telling stories leaves us laughing until our stomachs hurt. This is our home away from home.
