About this property

Beaver Lake + Mountain Biking in Northwest Arkansas OZ TRAILS/HOBBS STATE PARK

3300 Sq Ft Home with 4.3 acres on Beautiful Beaver Lake! This home has been newly updated with fresh paint and all bedrooms contain new memory foam mattresses and bedding- 2/2018. It sleeps 18 comfortably. It has a total of 5 bedrooms (one is a loft area) and 3 baths. The main level has the first 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The other bedrooms and bath are located downstairs.

There is plenty of space for entertaining in this home and is great for those traveling with multiple families and kids. It includes 2 separate living areas, wet bar, and game room. The bar is equipped with a sink and ice maker-It has a total seating area for eight and makes a great location to just hang out or enjoy your favorite cocktail. The converted garage game-room is complete with a pool table, ping pong table, air hockey and shuffle board table. It is fully heated and cooled with its own central unit.

Outside you will find a large deck overlooking a fenced in back yard with fire pit, swing set for the kiddos, and of course the beautiful lake. The deck is a great place to grill and relax. On most evenings you will be able to watch the many deer that call the property home and enjoy the sunset.

The lake can be accessed directly from the property in a few different ways. If you choose to walk, it is approximately 350 yards from the house downhill. Stairs and switch backs have been added to make this walk a little easier. There is also a gravel path that can be driven down with a Ranger/Mule type UTV-This will leave you with a walk of approximately 40 yards. Due to Corp of Engineer rules you can not drive directly to the edge of the water.

If hiking or biking is what you are after, then Hobbs State Park Visitor Center is a short 3 miles away and War Eagle Cavern is 2 miles away. 24 miles of world-class mountain biking trails can be accessed directly from the property with a short 1 mile downhill ride to the Karst Loop.

This property is conveniently located about 25 minutes from downtown Rogers and 30 minutes from Eureka Springs. This makes for an easy trip to dinner or the grocery store. It is right in the middle of Beaver Lake with several lake restaurants to choose from that are just a short boat ride away.

The road is paved the entire way to the lake house and there is plenty of parking for multiple families.

Large Lake House/Plenty of Fun
The lake house had everything we needed for our group of 14, ranging in ages from 13-84. While it can be difficult to get to lake for older folks, there was an ATV available to use. Dock had a canoe, paddle boat and kayak available, along with life jackets. The cove is so quiet and peaceful, which was a plus as I expected lots of boat traffic. You can see part of lake from deck, even in summer when trees are in full bloom. The house has multiple family rooms and teens could stay up late playing games while adults slept soundly in other part of house. Kitchen was very well stocked. Hosts were very responsive/helpful with any questions. We would stay again if in the area.

Family vacation
The trek to the water is not ideal for small kids and older folks or anyone with mobility issues. The owners have made it as convenient as possible for the situation with the use of a side by side. Pretty steep. Once you are down there plan to stay awhile, you just can’t run back and forth between lake and house. Nice home and deck. Spacious. Nice game room. Nice having 3 refrigerators.

Wonderful!
My family of 6 and our friend's family of 5 stayed for 3 nights and loved every minute. We had plenty of room and a place for all ages to go and play to give the adults some alone time. The owner was amazing. He called to tell us about the property prior to check in and we did text him with one question which he was very quick to answer. Very friendly. We felt at home there and everyone said it was a repeat! It is a beautiful home in a quiet area and the view and waterfront area were also beautiful!! 5 stars all the way!

About the host

Host profile image
Karri and I purchased in 2017 as our lake home. We live in Bentonville and use the home often, so you will not want for anything during your stay. We are accessible and want to make sure your vacation is perfect.

Why they chose this property

Pavement all the way to this home. 25 minutes to down town Rogers, 30 minutes to Eureka Springs. 24 miles of Mountain Bike trails just 1 mile away or short drive to Eureka Springs to experience some of the states best downhill rides at Lake Leatherwood.

What makes this property unique

The layout of the home feels like 2 homes in one. Trust me when I say it will not feel like 18-20 are staying in the home if you bring that many.
