Romantic Cabin at Beautiful Lake Lure!

Hurricane Helene Update: Our cabins are in good shape. Our lakefront and first pond have been damaged and will need to be repaired. The lake has been lowered by the town and there is construction equipment in the lakebed. Romantic cabin on a mountain lake. We are near Chimney Rock, Asheville and The Biltmore House. We are only 1/4 mile from the site where the movie Dirty Dancing was filmed. We are only 18 miles from the new Tryon International Equestrian Resort. Our cozy one bedroom log cabin is built for couples and has a hot tub. We are located in the Town of Lake Lure and only one mile south of the charming mountain Village of Chimney Rock, NC. For no extra cost we have canoes, horse shoes, private fishing ponds, and a dock on beautiful Lake Lure. All set in a natural landscape with diverse flora and fauna. Plus, only a short distance away you will find the Lake Lure Beach and Marina, Historic Lake Lure Inn, Restaurants, Chimney Rock State Park, Lake Lure Tour Boats, horseback riding, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, tennis courts, Chimney Rock Village and fly fishing on the Rocky Broad River! Also in Lake Lure you will find two championship golf courses and a municipal nine-hole golf course.

Great Birthday Stay

I choose to stay here for my birthday and I couldn't be happier. It was peaceful, beautiful, relaxing and quiet. The view of the lake and Mountain was breathtaking and the coziness of the cabin made it that much better. Will stay here agin.

Great Time at Lake Lure

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this location. Very easy access to the town, remote and quiet. Loved the porch. One recommendation: Put a curtain at the toilet door!

Peacefully unplugged…

We absolutely loved the cabin stay, it was very quiet and peaceful. The cabin was very clean and cozy/quaint. We had everything we needed during our stay. The hot tub was amazing and the queen size bed was comfortable. My favorite memory is hearing the church bells. 🎵 That was so delightful.

Great weekend of relaxing

My spouse and I stayed for 3 nights to enjoy a quiet weekend away. The cabin was perfect for 2 and had all of the things we needed - hot tub, grill, television/internet, and household items for cooking and feeling at home. the Ingles was only 10 minutes away if we needed anything,. Even though we were visiting in the offseason, there were many things still open when we wanted to go out to eat. The fact that they were dog friendly was a huge plus. We'll definitely be staying again!

Wasn’t worth the price.

Several lights were out when we arrived. Lights would flicker for no reason. Should’ve had some type of blinds in the door window. No privacy and people were less than a couple hundred feet away. Didn’t know if someone was in cabin. The door was unlocked and key box was ready to open. Didn’t need code. For the price, not a great place.

Very nice and cozy. Love the hot tub and gas grill, will definitely be back next year when the lake lure opens for swimming and fishing. It’s amazing to see the progress that has been done after Helene.

Cozy hideaway

It was a great getaway for the weekend me and my husband and noticed everything was clean inside but there was a lot of dust on everything inside and then the night before we checked out noticed that there was a pest issue going on with some German roaches was not an infestation but there was definitely some activity. With us being an owner of a pest control company we were shock to see this.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Cabin is in great location and is very clean and comfortable Several restaurants have opened back up in the area. Really enjoyed the hot tub on the porch. We took our dogs with us and they had a great trip also. We will definitely be back soon. Thanks!!!

This was the perfect accomodation for my husband and I. The property has all you need, and it is located so conveniently to all the sights that Lake Lure and Chimney Rock have to offer. Overall it was quite nice. Only 2 negatives about the cabin. 1)It was really dusty, especially in the bedroom area. 2)The mattress needs to be replaced. It's like sleeping in a bowl. Start on the side and end up in the middle. The hot tub and screened in porch are really nice.
